New to the scene from the Bahamas

Hey guys. Im finally getting myself a 98 Aristo. Ive been into the vw/audi scene for the past 4 years when I was off in college in South Fl. With my 2006 a4 I always took inspiration from the vip scene. Now that ive moved back to the bahamas im gonna finally get myself an aristo. here in the bahamas we can get jdm cars easier than left hand drive cars. I spotted this white 98 aristo vertex edition the other day. it has 60,000 miles w/black leather and blackwood and best of all it is twin turbo. The rims will be the first thing to change as it already comes with Tein coilovers. Then probably air. I will attach the only pic i got to take of it. i will post some more later. let me know what you think!

Welcome man... twin turbo!?!?!?! Daayyyuuummm, beast ah? Post pics of the engine bay, interior, etc. etc. :biggthumpup:
 
Hmmm... where's the intercooler?

Yeah that motor came TT if its a JDM aristo should be vvti also if it a 98 and have stainless turbos. Very nice find. Thats the one to have.

Oh ok, I thought it was aftermarket... so does it hv 2 intercoolers in a similar setup like Z32s? If so it doesnt even hv gills for the intercooler to breathe... that's odd.

Thanks all. I havent had time to go to the lot and take more pictures, work has me tied up much of the week. But yes the car is turbo. It was the only one on the lot that they had which was not N/A. Im buying the car for a little under 10 grand :) I have a couple dollars left to spend on it. For wheels I was looking around and it looks as if 18X9 +7 18X10 +9 would fit pretty nicely? any suggestions on size and offsets would be good for me. Im still a noob when it comes to this platform so any help there would be appreciated.

^ those will fit really nicely with a stretch on the tires and a roll on the fenders + some camber

Honestly man, I thnk 19s might suit your platform better... nonetheless, there's some sick Aristos on here, do some research nd you'll find a couple of good build threads... oh & being from the islands myself I know that's a killer price!!!

18s look the best on 2nd gens, you just have to be on the ground or else the look is ruined.

The roads here are shitt so im kinda leaning more towards 18s so i cud put a bigger sidewall on, im guessing with 18s a 40 sidewall would look just fine. Im gonna search around some more and see what i find. im off tomorrow so im gonna go by and take some more pics of it. i just put a deposit down on it so he could hold it for me. i have to sell my jeep first but that shouldnt take too long (im hoping). im also getting him to change the grill on it with the other one in the picture. its of real cheap plastic and it feels as if it will break any second. Also how much negative camber can you get in the back stock? i know my audi was around -3.5 or so.
