Ksport bags + Y33?

Why is nobody running this set up? it's pretty affordable, is a bag over coil and you can buy just the struts and bags on their own....

....... I gave up working with Ksport 2 years ago when i wanted them to build Y33/ Y34 set up like AR as a cheaper option .. since KSP and D2 is the same company just different paint job you are better of doing it your self ..

Well they'll sell me the bags and struts for $1700...

I can do the management myself since I don't trust their chinese shit.

Wells that's been coming I guess.... not hard for a coil company to slap some aerosport bags on their coils and add $700 to the price.

From what I've seen ksport and airforce look almost identical, and similar in price.. I run airforce airbags I got no complaints

i had the basic kit on my 350z, i loved it. with the manual setup you cant go wrong.

I'm running the K-sport Airtech on my Q45. It's ok. I got their earlier kits so I don't have the management and neat stuff they have now. K-sports will always be K-sports. They don't ride the best but it does it's job. I have the 4 valve system and I hate it. I imagine it would be 10 times better if I had 8 valves. The Airtech's ride just like coilvers. When they are at max PSI, they ride like shit, very bouncy! K-Sports customer support is very weak and the take forever to ship items to you when you need them.

K-sports, D2's and Air Force are all the exact same. Just google the part numbers and you'll see that their website are identical with different logos.

I'm good with my ksport air for 2.5 years now.  Done lots of upgrades, but the coilovers/bags are great.

Anybody with D2/K-sport/Air Force/etc finding the rear bags to be overly sensitive to weight balance in the car or atmospheric temperature? When it gets cooler, the bags don't raise as high and it's a pretty significant difference.

hmm.. havnet noticed anything significant.. noticed tha tI have to run about 8 psi more in the rear since its cooler.. have u tried racing it up completely and dropping it and going back to ride height.. ?

On my airforce set havent seen any difference yet.... then again I live in Vegas it doesn't get that cold here Haha..

When it gets hot, it raises much higher at a given PSI.

Obviously guys, gotta think about air density.

Hot air flows more freely. Cold air, the molecules condense, therefore you need more of them in order to get the same amount of lift.

Scene is small but growing, the stretch tire crowd is pretty heavy with the hoopties and VWs but growing into the luxury cars slowly but surely.

The first stretch and poke Canada had (WFC event) was May, 2010, I think we had 30 cars, 10 or 15 of which were fitted (myself included ;) ) the second one was slightly larger followed by the third also slightly larger. This year we kicked off the start of the summer with 100+ cars. Quality of cars went up as well as quantity, we'll see what's in store for 2012.

How did you end up in Vegas? I've been to Vegas multiple times and it's definitely on my places to live haha.

My parents lived in vegas once before I was born...long story short we  Eventually we  got tired of the weather moved to Vegas I've been here like 12 years now.. Haha far from the cold I can sport my wheels all year and not worry about rust and shit!!! No offense to my home town but I love it here! That's good VIP are coming up in the north east!!! I might be back in toronto in summer for a visit I'll look u guys up!!

Reviving this old thread lol. For those of you that used the K Sport Airtech, were you guys using the ones made for the Y33 or did you guys do an S chassis swap and used the ones made for the S chassis?

still on the search, but i might be learning more towards UAS with BC because if something pops, i can just replace the bag with extras that I buy without having to ship it out and be out of a car for awhile. I daily my car, and dont have anything for a back up.

also, i hear a lot of people NOW are running y33 specific bags where it has to be welded or specific coils with spindles. correct me if i am wrong though.
