what exhaust are you running? how does it sound? how does it look?

here's how mine looks. 
new true dual piping from flex sections back. some brand resonators to a dual in/out magnaflow muffler and tips.
will take an HD vid of how it sounds...almost like stock. debating on whether i wanna remove the resonators or not....???

I want to find a good exhaust shop to do mandrel bends....  anyone have any recommendations?    Also want to take out the mid mufflers and some...

redoing my exhaust later but for now I just cut the stock muffler off the back and replaced it with straoght pipes and tips.definitely sounds better already but need big changes once I finish the wheels and a few other things.

the more i drive my car the more it sounds like a powerstroke diesel with a bigger exhaust.....obv without the turbo. but only when im like gettin on it...normal accel just sounds deep and regular. open it up and it sounds like a beast! i gotta get a vid of it drivin or some sort of drive by sometime...

2.25 piping from the stock H-pipe back
Removed all 3 mufflers 
Kept the tips from my Aimgain exhaust which are resonated
 
SOUNDS pretty BEAST! Like a mean ass V8
2500RPM is crazy! 
I definetly was the loudest one on the road on my way to work this morning and that's w/ semi's on the road

One of the best cheapest mods I've done LOL!

Nice! My only question is what took you so long? lol.  I liked how my Q sounded w/ no muffler, but I prefer how my M sounds w/ the Magnaflow muffler, it eliminates any drone and has such a nice mellow sound, but really growls when you step on it.

Good question. One part is I didn't want to get rid of my aimgain that matched my kit. It was nice having aimgain everything. Letter 2: I liked the subtle classy sound it had and Number: B wasn't ready to go louder until now. 
That aimgain exhaust was hangin too low and was literally eating everything on the road! (Reflectors, rocks, debri, trash bags, etc.)
 
And as far as drone. Anybody that knows me, knows that I play my music really loud when I drive. So my music drowns out the drone. 

Y33s have impressive cabins! It's much quiter inside the car than outside. 
My biggest challenge now is telling how low I am because I can't hear the rubbing in the back anymore LOL!
 
and I still didn't fix/find out what's rattling loose under the car....cats maybe?:shrug:

but you're in the LA area so there's a hand ful of cats that can get it done. It's an easy job if you have the tools.
 
oh, and no, it's not very "static" car friendly if you have a kit and are that low.
Their lift is low enough but it has a slight bend
and the location of the shop is tight.

I hear you on that. Depending on how many times the boys in blue mess w/ me, I might tone it down but for now, it makes driving my car alot more fun (keep looking for places to drive to LOL!)

from reading the comments of the video, the owner stated that he, "just removed the rear muffler, and replaced with pipes to the rear. The other mufflers are still in place, as are the cat converters" & "All I did was remove the rear "suitcase" muffler, and replaced it with straight through pipes."

does anybody have a visual of what the suitcase muffler is? is that the muffler closest to the rear with the exhaust tips attached to it? shine some light on my questions please!

I have a 98 q45. I went to a shop around the corner from my house to get a quote and the owner said he wouldn't touch my car because if u mess with the backpressure it will cause the o2 sensors to throw a CEL. Is this true???

Haha yea that was only like 3k rpm, was a cold start. And its deep because i hollowed out muffler and took out the cat :)
