High disc wheel causing short studs?

I recently received my new wheels and the front ones have a high disc for BBK clearance which is what I specified. The high disc is making it so the studs barely stick out through the lug nut holes. I mean I was able to tighten the lug nuts on the studs as much as I could, but not nearly as many rotations as the factory wheels with the low disc.

Will this affect anything? The lug nuts not having as much stud to screw into?

Definitely not a good thing. My tire shop told me you want at least 7 revolutions to be safe.
I had the same issue and had to buy extended studs (H&r) and lugs (generic).

I probably got right around 7-10 revolutions. If I didn't though, would it cause the car to feel funny while driving it? I can't tell if it's the crappy tires I got (Fullway) or if it's this.

I did check tire pressure and it isn't that.

BTW, vehicle is 07 M35 Sport. Setup is:

So you think the studs being short can cause the wheel to slightly vibrate? The faster I go the more the wheel seems to vibrate...they claimed to have balanced the wheels when they were shipped out so hopefully that's not it.

I've noticed sometimes when you go really big rims the balance gets kinda thrown out...   only good for the first few thousand and then it starts getting shaky.

Are these new wheels and tires?   did you buy these used?   Did you mount the tires or did it come with them?   You might just need to get the wheels rebalanced... and while on the balancer make sure nothing is bent.

These are brand new wheels/tires, and supposedly they were balanced when the tires were mounted. The company I bought them from mounted/balanced them as a package.

I'm hoping it's just a balancing issue and not having to buy new longer studs.

there's nothing wrong with forgiatos, guys. just because they cater to a crowd with different tastes than you doesn't make them crap.

i'd run forgiatos on my car if i could afford a set :P

It is pretty much just between 45-65mph roughly. It definitely feels like the front wheels have a vibration.

I'm coming to the conclusion that it's my front tires. Although they are brand new, I think they are defective with a bubble in the tread or something. Unless someone has previous experience with short wheel studs causing this type of vibration.

If that's the speed it's happening then it's probably out of balance or a tire issue.

Have you got it rebalanced yet? If not do so, and if that doesn't fix it see if you can swap tires.

What kind of suspension are you running. If the wheels were balanced, and getting an alignment doesn't fix the vibration issue, than your shocks or coils could be shot and can't handle the larger sized wheels. Just a possibility.
