Y33 Front spindles
Is there any difference between the Touring and Non-Touring 97-01 FGY33 front spindles/knuckles on the strut? I am going to cut them anyway to accommodate the BC Coilovers. The Non-Touring strut assemblies seem to be more readily available. I don't want to hack up the front struts on my 2000 Anniversary Edition just in case I want to put it back to stock. Sorry for being a noob. I used the the search option and could not find a definite answer. :pat:

Accessed an Infiniti crash manual today. There is no difference in wheel bearing and hub assembly part numbers. So basically, strut housing / knuckle assembly for the touring and non-touring 1997-2001 Q45's are identical.

To my knowledge the only difference was the auto dampening adjusters.

the oem part numbers are different so the assemblies are NOT exactly the same. so my guess would be the cartridge part is different somehow even though the knuckles and overall dimensions are the same.

Yup the touring and non-touring have different inserts. There's some new non-touring inserts on eBay.
