Lips, no lips????

Ok everyone I'll like to ask about wheel with crazy lips from anything around 3 all the way to like 5 inches or more. From no lips at all. 

I noticed there are a few VIP cars with wheels without any lips but still have a sick off set and stagger.... So what are you guys opion on this. I mean I really looking into it for my car.

are you talking about full faced wheels? that have a concave face?

I like my rims with dish. Rims with 'lip' are for 45 offset 'tuner' wheels.

and yes, some people prefer concave face full face wheels with aggressive offsets over 3-5" of dish.

Both look awesome, especially if you can combine a concave dish WITH lip ;) In the end, it's too single-minded to think one is better than the other. Furthermore, it shouldn't be a competition of how big lips are either. Otherwise, you end up with the same mentality as the "bigger is better" DUB/DONK crowd - absolutely no consideration for aesthetics.

Ultimately, I think what really matters most is how the wheel design flows with the design of the car, what visual effect you are trying to achieve, and finally how it is executed.

Depends if it looks good on the car...I've seen cars with no dish and no lip but good fitment and it still looked tight
Of course I still prefer dish and lip
