New guy with 1st Gen GS from the Midwest!

Well I have been lurking the site for quite some time now. So I figured I would finally take the time to register. I will keep this short and sweet though. My name is Sean, I live in central Ohio, I sell cars, I drift and I loooove my Lexus.

That is it for now. Im just trying to gradually clean the car up more and get ready for new paint.
Yes I do have all the center caps, but it was getting some stance adjustments. It needs some spacers for more poke.

The old engine setup...SR20DET blacltop, power fc, bc cams, top mount precision gt3257and pretty much all the goodies on stock bottom end. Made 346whp on the old evo3 16g, but never got it on the dyno with the new setup.

Its current state is not so pretty. I have been putting in a lot of work to rebuild it from the ground up. As well as putting in a whole new drivetrain. (small block Ford Setup)

looks clean, definite sitting nice and low, the first pics looks crazy low compared to the 2nd pic ....great start.

read up on Cubangs, he's owning the 1st gen GS....can learn allot from him/build

Yeah, I had raised it back up significatly since I was about to put my stock wheels on. My lowenharts got cracked real bad and I am having the barrels swapped out. Now im just unsure if I want to spend the $550 for the repair or just sell them as is and buy new wheels :sad:
 
I have seen many pics and read his build thread. "Scarface" is definitely one dope ass ride!

not bad man.. i miss my first gen.. didnt get to build mines much but i'm currently looking into another one. how much u pick up your coilovers for man?

Thanks man. I think it is a little boring as it sits, but that should all change soon. Too bad winter is coming here in Ohio.

Thanks a lot buddy! Im planning to freshen it up over the winter. Im also hoping to get lucky and that we take an LS430 in on trade sometime soon lol. Only downside is I would have a car payment. :sad:

Not too long. I gave it a shot back in 2007 when I had my GTO, but I was pretty easy on that car. Then I just followed the sport here and there up until about 2 years ago. Even now I catch myself losing motivation to finish my car. I just have other priorities that come first. Plus I really wanna put more money into my GS lol.
