is it possible to run a slim bag on bc coils?

just like the title says. Does anyone have any input? I wanna run cups but no one offers rear cups though so bags on coils I guess would be the next best thing! Roberuta is way out of my range so I'm researching other setups. Short bags are nice but don't give me the lift I need so does anyone have any input? I don't wanna run the regular uas  bag I have up front bc of rubbing issues so I need something new someone help


and please give useful comments and advice that help. Maybe this thread can help others also!

i don't understand how you make these comparisons. how is a sleeve bag "the next best thing" to cups. without showing bias one way or the other these 2 suspension types do not even share the same benefits. it's like sayin football is the next best sport after pizza.
 
figure out what you want to do and how to do it. don't just scramble for options.
 
now since i know you i have some insight. you are stuck on 4 wheel for some reason, and you're not going to spend bold world money, so mark cups off the list. you're not going to spend air runner money either so knock sleeves off the list (it would need to be otg to be competitive imo btw). you are looking for a daily drivable set up, which means you need to maintain a certain psi @ ride height. you are also having rubbing issues (despite using billet mounts) so the large uas bags are not acceptable. last on the list is enough lift for you to get where you need to go.
 
what's left is uas short bags. now you can do what you've been doing and cross your fingers hoping that you can just swap out the bag and it will fix all your problems, but without coilovers you do not have control over what psi is acheived at what height. catch 22: when you modify coilovers for uas with an inverted spring you lose most of the height adjustability in the rear. so you're back to square 1, cross your fingers. the other drawback to really trying to dial in a bag is that the higher the psi at the lower the ride height the less lift you get (which was the whole point in the first place right?). sure you can lay out, but when you have a 1-2" ground clearance ride height at 100 psi how much higher do you really think you're going to go?
 
final answer: figure out what compromises you want to make, can't have it all.

I guess I used wrong wording.... I wasn't trying to compare the 2 but I guess it sounded that way my fault for that. I know its 2 completely differ set ups. I miss the stiffness of coils and the adjustability of cups or the best of both words it has to offer.

I want a coilover  setup bc of the ride and stiffness but I  want the ability of  lift my old cups gave me at all 4 corners. But like I said since no one makes all 4 corner cups it kind of deters me away from going that route so I'm asking for advice and options for a set up that involves coilovers and bags besides using the short bags

Just do the short bags on bc's you will be all good, How bad are the roads where your at?

Sorry I type all this front my tablet I meant front and rear setup. I don't think they offer the cups anymore....

I was so close at purchasing them a while back but the. They told me that! =\

Well according to pvip they would have to "redegree" the part of the car where the strut mounts to the car on top. It's ok I'm already purchasing something else! Something that is reliable and something I doubt I will have alot of trouble with! Thanks Tom!
