i have a 97 y33 q45. i need help with full led tails. read inside!

ok. so. theres this complete q45 at a local junkyard that i am completely raping of all its goodies =)
 
a hint of the goodies is a full set of red/clear tails that will cost me no more than 40.00... :biggthumpup:
 
these will be spares that im willing to seperate the lenses and send the housing out to someone who knows what they are doing to retrofit them with LED panels. i want them to have full LED boards inside.
 
i dont really want to send these out to some high price internet company, just looking to see if someone on this board has done this before,knows what they are doing,is trustworthy, and willing to make some money on the side.

As far as modding the tail lights, I'm going to do them myself. I'll be posting pics of progress hopefully be able to start this month.

Yea, building led tails isn't hard... just time consuming. It's honestly pretty fun imo. Just take your time and you'll be happy with the result. 

Here's my thread, this was my first attempt at build any sort of led circuits, I think I might do another set down the road, as I have some new ideas after this one.. Read the link I posted in the first post, gives a lot of insight on how to do it!

I'm trying to do this too. Only problem I'm having is making/finding the boards to place my LEDs on. I don't know how brokey33 poked all those holes perfectly, he got skills lol

bmw style tail lights with the led tubes instead. still using leds as turn/brake/reverse. but making my own led tubes as running lights. i have it all mapped out all i gotta do is wait till after this meet on the 5th then i can start taking apart my tails! ill be posting pics with progress. ill take my time theres no rush really. just wanna get it right.
