Oficial Photoshoot, Gato, RE LS430 Futura Design

Wsup all........GATO had asked me to post this thread up, for he is having computer issues. This is an amazing amazing vehicle.....after all he has been through-(shout out to his wonderful wife for all the support she has given him and stuck by him through this build) he deserves every bit of that award. Def. creative and one of a kind LS430! Much much props.....and the crazy thing is......he's not even done yet-

"I can't even begin to tell you how I feel about this project and how it all came together. the small details that were played in my mind over the months came to realization and to top it off just in time for Wek'fest show to take home 1st place Lexus. The feeling was unreal, not just to win, but to win on how this car turned out after months of sitting in the garage being pieced together slowly.


The richness of the leather and the patterns, the amazing finish on the wood grain, piecing together the OZ wheels, the perfect bbk color, the execution of the illuminated door sills, the electroluminescent headlights, the custom front and rear bumper...ect ect,  the so far end result, was nothing short of my dreams that I had when building it in my head.



I learned alot by dealing with soo many diffrent businesses and vendors for this project, some good some bad. Not sure if Im looking forward to it again, but Hey, this is what I do, and your sure to see another project come out of me when this one is gone.


there is still some unfinished business for the car that will follow. I will take a small break for now and see everyone in 2012.

The Galleria shots are not photoshopped.....(we had to do it quick- got in and got out....took a couple of shots and was out in less than 5 mins...)

The execution on this car is just amazing!  Love it!  I am really glad to see this come together, and the photos are amazing as well.  Good job fellas!

Good job!!! Fvcking beautiful!! Ill b honest, not a fan of the interior pieces with the white lines (too busy for my taste) but that stuff is manini (no big deal). The thing I like about your build, the more I stare at the pics, the more small details I see. Just keeps getting better and better! Great job!!

yes, actually that whole night was perfect. perhaps becuase it was on a Sunday evening, but everyone actually cooperated with us and no one gave us shit. 
Jun knows that most times on shoots we get security called on us or what not...

the first location outside some mansions, guy at gate was cool and let us freely shoot.
second location where parking garage is was legit as everyone was cool with it including the security guard =) he wanted to hear the sound system...lol

and as Jun is shooting the car some older man walking by said "nice VIP car" me and jun were like "wtf" lol

and as they night was ending I told Jun I had one more place I wanted to visit as I had spotted the lite up palm trees a week prior.

we pull up and its right by a restaurant at the mall. the guy came out and I told him what we were trying to capture...he began to say he would make a call and I was like, look, by the time you get off the phone we will be out of here!

so he like, "go for it"....SNAP, Jun's eyes lit up like holy crap...hahaha

the next line of business is going wider, fatter and lower on the back. Im thinking at least one more inch of lip, raduis the rear and wideing the rear portion of the rear kit.

I have to say that I don't believe I have ever seen a better combination of execution on both the level of photography and the car.  This set is absolutely stunning!  Took my breath away when I first saw the money shot... indoors, holiday wrapped palms, and this beast.  Unbelievable work fellas!

i dont want to take ANYTHING away from the car because I truely love the work done, but why does the car have so much rake when aired out.  Does it go lower or is it a [B]preference[/B] not to tuck?  Does it need a radius?  For me if you tucked just an inch of the rear it would be insane with no rake.

because of the wheel fitment and the fact that it sits / rides pretty flush, it does not have the same stance that tommy (i think that was his name, its been a while forgive me) had when he owned it. so thats part of the reason why it sits the way it does. i dont think pictures do the stance justice though. personally i prefer the flush fitment to tuck.

^You got it confused, Tommie's setup drove flush like this is parked, and parked tucking.  

I think after the radius with these specs, the car will be that much sicker.  Cant wait to see it go in for even more work

thats what i said. gato rides like .25" higher than he parks, if even that much. so he parks flush, and rides flush.

if I go any lower on the coils on the rear, when i raise the car to the highest it wont clear the rear bumper going down the driveway.
we have near future plans to move, so ill wait then and crank them down. 
the fenders can tuck rim(if i lower the coils) but I prefer the poke with tuking a bit over half of the tire sidewall.
radius will happen by spring time but I still will go with the non tuck rim look.
