Jones Deville
I bought it the day before Black 2. The story behind it, I needed to rent a van to bring all the trophies, show display, wheel booth. Since I would have to rent it on a friday and the rent a place closes on Sunday, I would have to pay for the whole weekend (around $500 for the 3 days). F*ck that! Next plan was to buy a van. I sat in a Previa and was dead set on doing a vip style wagon. At the end of the day, it just wasn't me. I can appreciate them when they are done up but its not a van I would personally want to drive around stock for 6-8 months.
I followed my gut and got a Deville. I was contemplating getting one for years and figured this was the best opportunity to do so. The trunk is huge and so is the interior which is what I needed.
I ordered a few misc things here and there for it. Plans include air, custom kit, grill, headlight retro and some 22" Luxury Abstracts. Dont let the number scare you, It will lay on the duces.
p.s. this is my favorite car I have ever driven. I look for potholes

^Aired up.
The car is like 7" longer than the LS460L. It takes 22's well. The stock 16's with tires are taller than a 235/30/22 Check this out (keep in mind its not kitted, just stock)
The car is from Hawaii and it looks pretty clean. The front does not get lower though from what I been seeing. We will have to cut it up to get an extra 3-4"" out of her.

20s just look too small IMO. I am considering 21s but I would hate to wait a week if a tire was to blow. 22" tires are now common in just about all the 24 tire shops around here.

exact lac i would have bought. pearl white deville ftw. i agree on 20s. the car is big but the arches aren't cut like other cars (lx platform for example) that hold 22s well. 20s on stock suspension isn't a good representation of what 20s dumped would look like, but you knew that. i always pictured one on 20" ratzingers. only thing that sucks is cv joints will be busting on a regular if you drive low unless you go super custom. on that note the 22s look a little more appealing because you could sit it up mildly dropped and look baller, then hardpark it. i expect some tubwork will be in order to actually lay.

^Running a business alone is not cheap. Had to get my priorities straight. I'll be back in 2012
Mike, everytime I search slammed deville, I get pornos and get side tracked for about 5-10 minutes. I seen one lowered on 20's but need to continue searching. And yes, tub and a radius is for sure. Keep in mind how short the front bumper/side skirts are. With a kit, I will gain about 2"

You're not kidding. I keep dex-cool in the trunk from now on cause of a couple of close encounters. It over heated on me twice. I put some stuff in the oil to rejuvenate the gaskets and changed the thermostat, did a radiator flush and have been good since. Other than that, it has been running smooth

The Q is going to take a while to finish and more money. I rather get some work on the Caddy done so I have a car to roll around with. Thats not to say I am going to take it easy on it but my focus is the Q so I am just going to worry about suspension, wheels, re-paint the bumpers, and accessories for the Caddy for now.
This is the wheel I am going with on the Caddy. Most likely 22" step lip Luxury Abstract Mador

Thanks. I really want to do whitewalls too but if you get a flat and have to rock a non whitewall, it will look out of place and they are not cheap at all to where I can stock them in the backyard. Believe me, I have the worst luck and think about every situation lol.

Yeah. Didn't think anyone would care so I didn't post pics. Just got them on the other day. They are sick, I highly recomend them. I got them off ebay for cheap. But if the price is too cheap, they are plastic so always double check the fine print (these are stainless steel and under $100 shipped)
Bad pic and I didn't have time to wash the car. They make the car look much better in person. The install was super easy (clean the handles, remove double sided tape from the new handles, stick on and wait 10-15 sec)

Nice, that is one of the best ones I seen. Thats nice short term motivation. I think the rim size is just right. The car is very big. The front bumper and sides are real short vertically. All it needs is a lip kit (would have to be custom) or kit and the wheels would look even better.
You can pass that for vip style anyday as its a big body luxury car acting like a luxury car vs some other platforms that are small to midsize luxury sport cars trying to be large luxury cars. Better wheel choice would make a huge difference though on perception

Picked up 3 bumpers over the past few days. Need to get 2 more when its all said and done.
Projectors, rear view mirror pendant and my license plate frame from Luxury Abstract
The bumper will hang about 1.5" higher. These Deville bumpers are shorter than some mini trucks. Time to change that

Thanks guys. The mouth portion of the deville bumper to the bottom of the bumper is a good 2" shorter than every other car on the road. Once kitted and the bumpers/sides sit 4" lower, 22's won't even tuck and it will look bigger than a Sclass. It's 6" longer than the LS460L but you don't get the feel for that since the bumpers are so small. Everything is here, just waiting on wheels and my front struts

The escalade Hybrid headlights are very sick but are too big. I could probably fit 2 or 3 max vertical led projectors in there.
I picked up some new headlights to start the retro. We will be using the Luxury Abstract projectors. I want to modify the housing and add LED boards but no design is set in stone yet. There will be no amber in the lights
Here is the custom Front bumper mock up. The front of the stock bumper is actually higher than the side skirts. I plan to get some side skirts that lay a few inches shorter so everything lines up when all said and done. I'm going for a modern Japanese vip style look
