new color for the wheels?

lookin for suggestions for a good color change with the wheels......:shrug:

black chrome and a bright colored calipers

i'll have some z32 tt calipers powdercoated in a dark candy red.

and if you got a specific color in mind, post a pic so i could get a better idea. thankss

i do plan on refinishing the lips and keepin them polished tho

is it polished or machined with clear?

I think it will need to be lower though to pull off the color.

lol im not so much into the greens and purples. im doin a dark candy red for the calipers. the lips are machined/cleared, but the fronts have a couple light scuff marks and i touched a curb and nicked about 3/4" on one of the rears that i had smoothed out as best as possible.

my first question is "are they worth refinishing?". can't say i recognize the wheels but they don't look like the caliber of wheel that is worth investing hundreds of dollars into. not saying they're ugly (i actually kind of like them for some reason), but does it make sense investment wise.
 
if so, i'd body color them. white on white no lip ftw.

they are CEC c859. not of any caliber like weds or anything, but not a cheapo brand. i havent priced out refinishing of the lips yet, but i got hookups with powdercoating or painting. i thought about the color matching and leavin the lips, but wasnt sure if it'd follow the "i color matched my 26s to my donk" theme lol. i think it'd look good tho, otherwise maybe a graphite color. i'm def not gonna dump alot of money into them cuz i do plan on gettin more aggressive 20s in the future, but i'd like to change em up for the time i do have them...esp if i can do it for only a lil bit of moneys....=)

Dude, just leave them as is, you told me they were temps tiiiime ago. Just wait it out on VR, here, memoryfab etc until something dope pops up.

If you want to FIND a set of wheels, get talking to some of the importers and tell them to keep and eye out for certain models in either good specs or rebuildable specs. You'll find something quick....... Cough** LXZ.

Sell those and buy mine. The Euroline FS is like it was made for  Y34. It was nice on my Y33, but it looks just right on Y34 IMO (just ask OG too!). I'm only selling cause I've already had them 5 years and want something new.

theres lips on them!?! i wouldnt put much money into those wheels if i were you.

lol yeah what little bit they do have.....its a concave setup tho. its only gonna cost me like $200 to get the wheels painted. im not lookin for anything right now since i still like these wheels.....just like on my g35 too...i just want a diff color. and yes, LXZs are in my dreams.
