1992 LS400 UCF10 Project

So I would like to preface this by letting you all know this is my first car. It is not complete  yet,  I have learned so much about UCF10's since I got it and I hope to be able to contribute more to VSC and learn more. Brandon (Brandicus) has really helped me out and inspired me to get a UCF10 as well as  Joe (LiCelsior) and Jin  and Cesar from Kyoei USA . So I would like to give them a big shoutout. 

I dont know if you guys really care but here are some of the mods I've done

-Megan LP street coilovers
- 18x9.5 Enkei RPF1
-Custom exhaust 2.5" to glasspack w baby blast pipes
- JDM clear corner lights
- JP Fusa and Neckpads
- LED license plate lights
- 3000k HID fogs
- rolled fenders
- 225/40/18 nankang ns2

Future plans:

UCA clearance holes
Wider wheel setup
Grille
EDM front lip (If i could ever track one down)
Adjust coils to go lower

In CA its illegal to drive without a front plate on, and you can also be ticketed while parked. I have been pulled over for not having it on once before so I just ziptie it on and cut it off for meets/shows etc. I agree that it would look better without it.

I'm looking at either a  staggered 9.5/10 setup or 18x10 setup all around. It's hard to find wheels with decent offsets. I've been checking forums/ craigslist regularly but I can't really get new wheels until I sell my RPF1.

The Real OG 10s are in socal, brian and eric im looking at YOU =) 

they are both in sleeper mode (like myself) though

you have to be super low to pull of 18's. too high and it looks stupid, but if you can pull it off, you basically shitted on everyone.

I havent updated this in a while. Uhm my car slid out into a wall in the heavy rain last weekend it cracked the bumper a little bit but I thank god there were no other cars around or people or anything. Id much rather live with a reminder of what could have been than what did happen.

I just feel like 18's are the perfect sized wheel for the UCF10. 19's look great on your car though! I havent cut the UCA clearance holes to run 19's yet.

My friend is selling 18x10.5 +22 AME Tracer TM02 wheels, if your interested? let me know. He wants 2,000 for just the wheels and there pretty much brand new. Only driven on for 800 miles.

I havent cut the hole yet for my UCA either and im slammed...it pretty much sits on it

I have an update to announce. My new wheels. Veilside Andrew Racing V's. I still have to pull the fender a bit more for it to become drivable once again. My friend told me there was a ton of tire smoke coming out on a freeway onramp when he was following me and I'm not trying to attract a ton of attention from the police so here it is.

The rears are rolled with a very mild pull, enough to take the fender off of the tire. its a 225/40 nankang on a 10 inch wide wheel.

I installed my new steering wheel + quick release. 345mm Sparkle Silver wheel from Japan. The horn button I ordered with it didn't quite fit right so I am on the hunt for that still. That is why it doesn't currently have one.

I had to cut it in a few spots to get it to fit better. Once you get it just hold it up to the bumper and you will see what im talking about. It's mainly in the middle sections.

They are really growing on me. I just need to space out the rears a little bit more. +18 is a little bit high of an offset for an 18x10 in the rear. I'll probably just push it out like 5mm or something I don't really want to run extended studs and a bolt on 10mm spacer is pretty expensive...

Bro would you happen to have any pics of your under carriage. I want to see see how much clearance you have from either the exhaust or frame rails. I am on 18s as well and i am hitting hard. The UCA hit but its not the issue this is under my feet.

I ask you because of the height you are pulling up front.

the LS400 is known to have low hanging downpipes from the factory. they extended below the frame rail. they need to be tucked up to get better clearance.
