cleaning wheels!
hey i was wondering what u guys use to clean your wheels? im specifically asking about the spray on/wash off stuff thats safe for JDM clearcoats/anodize
i hate all the brake dust grime that i cant get to because of my wheels spoke design. i just dont wanna use something that will eat away at the anodize finish on my Work d3s.

i cant get into the corners of my wheel. the face protrudes past the lip and the little crack there is impossible to get in with my sponge. there must be something way simpler......

Have you looked for a soft-bristled brush? That seems to be the only safe way, with a mild degreaser or simple green watered down.

Ha! When my gas light comes on I just pull into the dealership and trade my car in for one with a full tank.
If you want to clean the space in between the lip and the face, I just rip off a small wad of never-dull and push it around in the crack with a micro flat head screwdriver.

If you want to clean the space in between the lip and the face, I just rip off a small wad of never-dull and push it around in the crack with a micro flat head screwdriver.
I am not that baller.. but i keep it runnin when i fill up. lol

when im detailing the whole car i use the motul cleaner, but otherwise on regular washes i just use soap and water and clean with a toothbrush (it takes awhile haha)

If you're talking about wheel cleaners, like Armor All wheel cleaners, I wouldn't use those. Seen them mess up some clear coats since the chemicals are so strong.

I use chemical guys diablo tire gel cleaner. Its safe in any wheel finish and can thoroughly clean the inside out of the wheel. Daytona wheel brush can also be very helpful to agitate the solution into the wheel.
