Interrior lighting question.

I just bought a 03 ls430 and I love the ambient lighting the car has inside, but i was wondering if anyone knew how to keep the lighting from dimming once the car is put in drive. Maybe even put it on a switch. I just noticed that when it goes in to drive the light only dims doesn't turn completely out. Any help would be appreciated.

It's fine how it is in my humble opinion...Just get LEDs for the other "non-orange" lights, lol

If you want to keep it from dimming, you would need to find the signal wire that is connected to the shifter that sends the signal to dim.

Time to get a flow diagram and start tracing wires.
