Interior

Hi All,

How are you all coping with the interior? Mine is clean but rough. 

Has anyone painted theirs? If so, how did you paint it? How where the results? Durable?

Has anyone build their own interior panels? 

Has anyone tackled the headliner? Replaced?

I'll be painting my dash and door trim using SEM interior paint.. The carpet and rest will have to be replaced. I plan to do all the work myself so if I source any good cheap materials I'll keep you posted.

Pontiac fieros are worth a look for inspiration fiero owners have done a variety of dash swaps and door trims probably and well more mods of any kind than you will find in any other make. Painting works of interior panels as they are painted at factory it is as durable as factory if prepared first. I have done a headline before and is easier that it sounds hard part of that is getting it out without breaking it and glue new foam as old has deteriorated then use a glue that will not melt in sun eg: UHU 160 degree glue.  and lots of clothes pegs to hold everything into place as it dries.
