Y33 Impul ECU

Hello all. Will an IMPUL ECU out of a 1996 Y33 Cima from japan work on a USDM Y33 ? My IMPUL G50 ecu works fine. Anyone here have any experience?

The gas in Japan is different from here.... so the tuning might be off even though it works.   Could actually be harmful if US gas is lower octane and the timing is advanced.   Possibly higher chance of detonation.

I just remembered but didn't Y33 also have a V6 turboed version?

Yes they had a turbo v6 as well as an AWD v6 AND v8 I wasn't thinking on that note

This chip is for a Y33 4.1LX (4.1 L AWD v8)
