BC Racing also offers a full spindle option. I have the first set waiting to be installed. Megan vs. BC is a no brainer.

I was talking to the owner of FortuneAuto. We were talking coilovers and he informed me...
or maybe he just said that they came out of the same factory.

i think they are the same too.....my megan coils look just like my friends eclipse bs coilovers.....everything looks the same, color and components....from an outside perspective of course.

like ive said before...all basically the same...been in the business seen soo many systems and to tell the truth most of us are in it for just the look...not for other properties....yea its pretty nice to say that you have a baller ass coilover system but for what reason on a vip car? were not tracking cars or taking corners at insane speeds...so whoever says that this is better then that and that does this...maybe right but if your just dropping it for a look and to get more camber for stance then these are the best things made and for a budget then were all good....BC VS MEGAN VS PBM...all the same and thats my opinion if someone can prove me wrong!...and warranty wise...if youre here in socal megan is here and can get all your stuff for you no problems! have different spring options just incase youre system isnt low enough for you, so you do have options just gotta know who to talk to

Too be honest guys I was thinking the same that BC coils are the same as Megans. I wouldn't be suprised. Even the price point is about the same.

i'm not sure whether or not megan is bc made (i have heard this before but not from anyone that made me consider it a definitive answer), but what you have to understand is that not every part that comes out of the same buildhouse is made with the same components. a factory will have different levels of quality/options for private labels to choose from. i can say, without a doubt in my mind, that the bc branded product is superior to the megan in every way; construction/build quality, ride quality, and customizability (word?). noticably so.

I've used both Megan and BC on my car..satisfied with Megan for what I payed but BC is a noticeably better product and is 100% not the same coilover; same application different components

I was wrong then since it looks like we have the most creditable answer especially since he's had both. The only thing that made me buy the megans was that forjwork makes a threaded bracket for the UAS bags...BUT I just tried the Forjwork bracket on the Megan and the fronts don't fit. The rears screwed on no problem.
Now that visually we know its not the same then now I'm curious on how well they perform in comparison.

BC FTW

Although threading size is bigger I think I still prefer smaller. I think the collars lock better on the smaller threads. Some of the welds do look more robust but again it's pointing out parts that rarely ever break from my experience with coilovers. What I want to see is the internals. It'd be interesting to see how they perform side by side.

the internal is something i can not comment on as my megans were stock configuration (10/8 i think) and my bc's are 20/18, but i can say that my bcs are comfortable, and havnt blown yet, and my megans (1 rear and 1 front) blew sometime during my first year of use.

I have had my Megans on for over 3 years....They been great on the LS which is a heavy car. I believe they are 12/10kg. Only gripe is the rears wont go as low as I want without adjusting preload. ...other than that they are dope. Just like any other coilover you have to dial the dampening in.
