Pretty interesting..

So universal air japan is making their own hybrid suspension,the interesting part is the bag is resting on top of a coil spring:shrug: 
it doesn't look like it's a small bag ala cup on top...opinions??

Very interesting, but don't see now mention about the lift... But it's a short bag so maybe a couple inches:shrug:

At least with this you could drive with full pressure and not worry, not like with the cups.

Id still buy Air runner on the ground after the Y34 i would  change if its not broken !

I can dig it,but i don't understand the need for the spring under the bag & if you look some of them have the bag on the bottom, I thought it was either coil spring or bag but not both..

Sup Tommie... But looks like it's a standard coilover (see the threaded shock body) with a bag on top... similar to what you did on your old LS and most do now-a-days with the BC coils. You can basically customize your ride characteristics straight out the box.

looks like a legit setup. but something tells me they still didnt factor in people riding low in a GS and it still rubbing.. but who knows only time will tell or until someone buys this setup

Doesn't make any sense to me. I don't see the advantage over straight bags.

Probably better off with some cups, I'm guessing price is around the same. Anyone running these yet?

bags flipped to the bottom are probably for inverted spring aps (gs, is).
 
huge loss of travel when deflated (bye bye dampers).
 
limited ride height adjustability. notice the lower perch has been removed and the spring rests on the lower bracket. this is essentially a single tap coilover meaning preload will be affected by  ride height adjustment. SERIOUS travel issues, unpredictable ride quality.
