Debating on whether or not my next car should be daily track/drift or daily VIP. Always been a fan of the early model (1990-2000) LS400's (Celsior). The VIP look is way cleaner then some of the track cars, but that's just my opinion in some cases. Was thinking about getting 97 LS400 and putting COILOVERS, not bags, cause they're for groceries. :smiley-rofl: Anyways, going to start a search on coil overs and how they perform. If I get an LS, pictures of before, during, and after the build will def be up!

99 ls400 homez, I'm thinking about getting rid of my gs and picking up one of those. I'm not sure about the coils on the ls since its a much bigger car than mine but I've been on coils for a little while now and I rly enjoy it, its kind of a pain from time to time but worth it. anyway welcome

whats up Ren, welcome to the boards. I dont want to "judge" you, but it seems youre just trying to get into whats popular at the moment. Please done take this is a bad thing, cus its not, just an observation. Do enjoy drifting? Or do you just want to enjoy cruising? Don't worry too much about looks or labels, just get the car that answers those questions. Also, don't give in to the coilovers > bags hype. I use coils because in my situation its what works best for me, but both set ups have their advantages and disadvantages. I may be reading too far into what you typed, but "search on coilovers and how they perform" says to me you should research all options.
Good luck with the build and again, i hope i dont sound over serious haha

Being serious?? Not at all. haha. I've been looking into many options for my next car. I've always been a fan of the VIP style, and willing to drop a lot of money into it. Don't get me wrong, I love drifting and track cars, but driving around in a slammed ls400 that's flawless is a lot more classy than a beat up 240. :giggity:

You are in the same boat I am in. I'm used to track cars but I'm over that whole going on friday nights to the track and hope my car doesn't break down while I'm there because it's my daily LOL. I'm also looking for an LS. I love how clean and classy that car looks with lil or no mods. I'm actually going towards the bag way do to the fact that it works better for me and my situation. I have done the research and it's the way I want to go. Just do some research like I did and go from there. Good luck with everything.
