Dunno if this is scary...
And I still had to grind a bit of those knuckles to make 'em clear the strut in all conditions, it's now half the width(strength) of the original :smiley-rofl:

for real. i'd be more scared of those rusty struts.
this is between my rim and fender. less than a mm.

(red that appears to be on the lip is a reflection from the fender which was rolled with a red jack handle hahahahahaha)

is it really driven like this? might be the angle, but it actually looks like its touching in some places...possible he tried adding camber, realized it hit, and took a picture before adjusting it?

Know one on coils ride like that with a kit. But the car does drive at this height on 265/30 rear. Not on 255/35 which I currently have.

I dont have picture of mine (cant reach there to take one) but I have business card clearance between wheel and shock and same clearance between wheel and fender. Also adjuster perch shaves bead protector part of the tire.

Final phase is trim front bumper. Slight radius. More front camber. Add steal skid plates.

Some of those pics are beyond crazy haha. Id be worried about the strut body and wheel flexing under cornering or bumps and hitting the wheel lip. Better hope your wheel bearings are good too!

if your wheel is flexin, then you got more than just fitment problems. Even a tire flex wont happen on cars like this, just cause you need a stretch tire to run like that.
Today I put wheels on and powered by max coils on a s14 and needed 25mm spacers on his wheels. its not as close as this.. but 5mm? maybe 8 to hitting

I hope you are joking. You obviously havent see how much stuff flexes under load. Cruising around a parking lot is fine, but hitting a bump while cornering is a different story. Even stretched tires are going to roll on the rim, although its considerably less than a tire that wasnt.

But that doesn't matter because the rim is in a fixed position, especially if you got hard joints that don't have any slack. In theory you could get away with a mm or two clearance if all joints/bushes are upgraded.

just looks like bad spec selection to me. nothing cool about clearance issues.
