Air suggestions?

Hey vsc
I am currently riding on stance coilovers on my 2gs and roads here aren't that great at all in south louisiana
Been wanting to switch to air
Any suggestions on which kit is better and why?
I'm not too familiar with air ride
And who are good people to buy from for kits
Any help is appreciated greatly
Thanks in advance

Do some research on all the threads made. Most suggested are air runner, ksport, and uas
Ar is expensive
Uas is cheaper but requires more customization
Ksport is ok for the price

Everyone will have something good and bad to say about all..

I really like UAS/Coilover Hybrid & since you have coils already just slap the UAS on them & your golden, just make sure the actual threaded sleeve is no bigger then 2.14 in diameter so the bag will fit over it.

uas on 2gs still has rubbing problems even with the billet UAS bracket for some, depending on how low you roll.

Well I can't roll too low down here in most areas so I would probably be rolling safe height cuz roads suck tremendously
But I would love to be able to slam it when I park or to ride low when roads permit me to
Plus some driveways are a pain and bags would help get in an out easier lol
Thanks for the help guys keep it coming I am doin research as well

For 2GS I think the best setup has to be airunner otg, if you can afford it. uas rubs, and the way the coilovers have to be modified makes them basically non adjustable. i don't f**k with k-sport/d2/etc. doesn't sound like you're a good canidate for cups either. got $6k?

There's also the option of buying the AR struts (someone selling used in the classifieds) and piecing the management yourself. Would be much less than 6k..

yeah but that's not otg, airrunner without total length adjustability is not complete imo.

Can I get some opinions on the ksport kits? Looking at the pro or pro plus kit but would love opinions from people who had experience with them
Considered uas but I often hear that they rub this is my daily somewhat so don't want anything like that

ive had airrunner for over 5 years. i like it and havent had a single issue. i want to get the OTG because its starting to feel like a 5 year old setup. rebuilding the struts from what i hear is kind of pricey so id likely just go for the upgrade

Yea I'm really starting to lean towards air runner
Jus not many opinions i see from ksport experience
I know air runner has a reputation but their price is more than I was willing but I'm pretty sure it worth the extra
Lookin at the decade kit and maybe option of Dakota digital setup

Thanks guys keep the opinions coming
Really appreciated

AIrREX has a awesome kit.. many dont know about AIRREX but product is quality

Bags dont rub also and it is a bolt up kit.. and you can just buy the struts and choose your own air management system..

Just don't go ksport. My buddy had it & I felt like a bobble head driving his car around even at low speeds.

Stance are great coils (had them on my G35), too bad you can't go UAS. I have AR on my F50 & I have no complaints whatsoever. OTG definitely if you can afford it.

iirc, the decade kit uses bellows instead of sleeves and can have clearance issues.

My D2 Racing (K-sport) rides nicely and uses bellows. No problems with it so far after 2 years and 1 winter.

Good to know since a couple of friends are in the market as well (2GS & Y33). Probably hit & miss depending on application. The one I tried was on an XB.

I'll let you guys know in about a month or 2 how the f50 ksport bags are. Should be here in 2-4 weeks

Yeah me too, pretty decent kit price wise.... and no clearance problems before going with oni camber. Just add extra valves for FBSS and DakotaDigital pressure monitoring or AA E-Level:biggthumpup:

It looks pretty identical. I like to hear that. I gave them a shot because they are local and a buddy of mine who works there got me a great deal. I had good luck with their coilovers on my TL so I figured the air would be good too.

Yea as of now it's either the airrex struts with accuair non leveling management and Dakota digital gauges
Or air runner decade kit
They said as long as I don't have custom arms and whatnot they should clear fine
Spoke with Autofashion for a while trying to figure out what's best
The otg kit is definately out of price range right now lol oh but I wish I can get it
Still paying alot of medical bills from my accident a few months ago
And for the uas there's a guy sellin a full kit pretty cheap on CL but I can't see myself chancing it with uas rubbing issue on 2gs cuz I need something I can have some reliability I mean who wants more problems than they have to ya know lol
Thanks for all the comments guys
Keep it coming!!!!!

If the airrunnner won't work with custom arms I'd stay away only for the fact that this game is a terminal illness and the need to get lower is unavoidable so custom arms are probably in your future.

clearance is an issue no matter what setup you have if you're talkin' adjustable uca.

Yea and I dont think I'll be doin that for a while but like it was said earlier
Cars can be like a drug or worse to some people lol and I always spent all my money on cars so I'm sure I'll end up doin sooner or later but I have other more important plans for my car in the very near future
Idk I'm kinda starting to consider the airrex more and more but only the struts
But then maybe not still got alot of decisions to make which is why I posted this thread to get as many opinions and experiences with other kits out there
