Trunk setups with air and subs?

I really need some inspiration for my trunk... 

I have a 10-gal air-tank coming in and I barely have enough room in my trunk with the 10" sub-enclosure as it is. 

My dream is to just have a stock looking trunk honestly. Maybe with a plexi-glass board to show the air setup. Obviously, that's not going to happen with what I got.

I'm thinking of just getting a 5-gallon tank so I can put it in the spare tire compartment instead. Then building a sub-enclosure for the dual Diamond Audio subs I have? Or maybe buy a second sub-cover for the stock sub and fabricate the 2 subs to sit how the stock sub did. I don't know.

The subs I have have a depth of 6", I know, they're pretty beefy haha. 

Ideas?

10 gal. tanks is waaaaay too big. It'll take up the entire trunk.
I have a 5 gal. and two compressors in my spare tire well. Had to build a false floor raised a couple inches to get everything to fit. I put a plexi window in as well.
Got some Stereo Integrity BM MKIII subs - 1 in each corner. 
You could do the same and just invert the subs to save on mounting depth.

From the pics I saw, the 10-gal isn't too bad, seems to fill in the area between the wheel wells almost exact, which isn't that bad. Much better then the sub enclosure currently in the car that leave me with like a foot of room in-front of it :sad:

Not really for inverting my subs since I keep a lot of tools in my trunk currently, although the idea is great, having to pluck my tools off a 4" magnet doesn't sound too great hah. 

I know I should probably search google, but with like inverting the subs, I don't understand when people do that, or don't put their subs in an enclosure... Figured they had to be in an enclosure since they need constant air and open-air mounting wouldn't give it constant air?:dunno:

an inverted sub works the same as a regular mount, it is just mouted face first into the enclosure. air space on one side, open air on the other.
