newbie y34 offset questions

Hi guys, 
 
im not new to the forum, have been here for a while but i recently changed from the ls400 to a 2000 y34. 
 
I will start a build up soon but i have seen some wheels come up here in australia i want to get my hands on. 
 
I am having trouble working out the right offset for my car with out rolling/ or flaring the guards. I have looked around everywhere on here and still havent been able to come up with an answer. I am looking at 19 inches and the offsets below are all the wheels come in. 
 
The sizes i am looking at are:

9.5 +0 
9.5 +12 
9.5 +22 
10.5 +0

I have used the wheel calculators on the site and so far im thinking -
 
19 x 8.5 +34 on the front 
19 x 9.5 +22 on the rear 
But i feel i still could be too far from the guards. 
 
Can anyone help with the best fitment on a stock y34. I will be lowering the car as well. 
 
Any info would be much appreciated.

Personally, i would go for 9.5/10.5 +0
but if you want to be a little more conservative 9.5/10.5 +12

No on the +34 and +22!!

Eydea is in the right range.  Myself, out of the range you're posting up, I'd do 9.5 +0 front, 10.5 +12 rear.

he doesnt wanna roll, so the offsets will have to be weak. i had 20x8.5 +20 w/ 225/35 and 20x10 +25 w/ 245/35 and i even had to do a light roll in the rear to keep the stretched tires from rubbing. now, if you roll (not pull) you can run like 0 offsets on a 9/10 setup

Hey said a 2000 Q, but they called it a y34. Won't the difference in chassis affect offsets a little?

I'm picking up a 2003 M45 on Monday, and have a set of 7 Series wheels in the garage I plan on running, what size adapter/spacer will I need? The wheels are 19x9 +24 and 19x10 +24. I'm thinking 10-15mm spacer? I'll be running stock camber and will roll fenders, could do a pull if needed.

just do 25mm spacers all around

These cars will fit 0 offsets fine? Considering 215/36 F and 225/35 R

But that's with fender work.  The Y34's in the rear are hard to pull due to the flat fenders and how close the rear fender is to the rear door.

^as I'm learning. I have effectively 19x9 -11 with -6 and the 5mm spacers in front, and could even go more, no problems at all. However, I got 19x10 +5 in the rear and the fender and wheel lips smack each other with compression, all the bronze powder coat along the top of the wheel lips is gone on my back wheels now. So I have to get the fenders pulled enough to clear the lips, then get them re-painted.  I have a stack of delrin bumpstops in there now that won't allow the fender and wheel lips to grind, unless it's too much angle like a driveway, but hopefully this week the fenders will be pulled out enough and I can take the bumpstops out and go a little lower again.

nice kev! i'm at 20x10 +12 and 20x11 +27 right now and i'm 1-1/8" fender/rim gap so i'm pretty low to be on 20s. and i've rolled and done a minor pull on my fenders, nothing too noticeable tho

Well...adapters are in, I've got some junky too wide used tires. Going to try to see how 19x9 +0 and 19x10 +0. 22mm adapters on a 24mm offset. We will see how this goes.

I am running a 20x11 +24mm in the rear which essentially should fit like a 20x10 +0
 You have smaller wheels which will probably give a more clearance when your wheel cambers. I couldn't roll the rear too much like mentioned due to the thick fender and small space behind the pass. doors.
But on bad bumps it slightly hits the inside of the fender, will probably beat it'self to clearing.

Are you able to run that on stock camber adjustment? I didn't get them on today, was just trying to do it in my driveway.

Yeah I have no additional arms just what the alignment shop was able to dial in. like -2~3* camber. I could probably go mare but since the wheels are so wide with a high offset my inner clearance is minimal. originally the wheels are +34 with a 10mm spacer sits them at +24.

No, it would be the same outside clearance as a 20x10 +12. +11.5 if you want to get technical.

true for got to halve the offset.
