DIY crystals?

Where do you find the crystals with the sticky back?

Yea Claires, Hobby Lobby, any craft store really.   I ordered mine off eBay though.   Cheap and effective.  The only catch about the ones with adhesive that I've purchased (I've gotten a few different kinds) is they don't respond well to the cold.   I've had a couple pop off.  I know you're in Cali, but if you go anywhere cold you may want to put a dab of glue on with the adhesive.

I used genuine Swarovski's and a two part adhesive mix that will withstand the heat.  My clock is still good after two full Florida summers

What Burgy said. I think you can buy just the crystals off the site. I'm not sure though. My friend used a thin adhesive, kind of like super glue. And the crystals have been on his shift knob for about... 2 years?

I tend not to like the flat backs anymore, not enough blingage, I wish i still had a pic of my old gauge cluster in my burban, I had drilled small holes around the spedometer and used some of those Cheap Bling Rapper Earrings and just took the fake diamond out and glued the pointy tips into the holes.  The reflection of the light was way nicer.
