questions for u previa heads...

I posted a while back about a friend building one. well he had some setbacks but its about to go under the knife. in a nutshell, he has $7-8k to spend on the build.

he plans to have the clean look. on air, fitted wheels and painted a nice pearl white. some questions since I personally can't answer them, I'm only good at mercedes and subarus lol.

1) to buy a full bumper replacement such as wald, would japanese headlights/taillights/core support... ANYTHING have to be used? or is it all interchangeable?

2) I noticed a lot of the etimas in japan use oem gs400/300 front bumper replacements. how much modification is needed in order to fit it?

3) what would the ideal wheel size be? nothing that he'd have to cut the hell out of fenders... just what  a simple roll and/or pull would fix. 

basic knowledge I suppose. I'm anxious to see the end result bc he has good taste. just doesn't get online much so I'm the middle man. thx.

2) There is a "Celtima" conversion kit on Yahoo at the moment (or at least there was a couple of days ago). Thats the name of the kit that puts LS400 headlights (UCF21) on the front of an Estima... It was at 50,000 yen, but no idea how you'd ship that one

not ls400 headlights, but a gs400 bumper. like so.

Oh, i see.... Are you sure thats not just an Estima kit? Alot of the vip styled kits look similar to that these days...

that's the kit we have in mind. which one is the luxury line? and how much do they run?

$8500-$9000 on parts and labor alone. already have the van.

well i can get the kit for about 3k..... talk to mdenoga for air and what wheels do you want?

a lot depends on what kit goes on to complete the theme. if a wald kit.. then wald wheels. anticilion kit with matching wheels. other wheels in mind were ame's or work euroline sl. air is a definite as well.
