Acually, bill needs to place these back up for sale. I do not deal with individuals that make empty promises. No matter how smooth you talk, right is right and wrong is wrong. This build is way overdue along with many others business bill has taken on. He continually removes any negative posts or comments on his Facebook page in order to keep up appearances and this is beyond unacceptable. There are always two sides to a story, but this one is cut and dry....
I took a chance on you bill....you let me down and you let yourself down. Now do the right thing and refund my money. You were given another chance to have my wheels boxed up by Thursday with a confirmation of shipment....NOTHING! Pictures of completed wheels...Nothing.....this has gone on too long....to me and many others. You should be banned for shady business practices. I know you don't like others venting about your business...but when you sell something..it's business! Thus far, you have failed to resolve the issue, and now I'm taking it to the forums in hopes that others will not do business with you.
Moderators,
Please investigate this issue. Its a shame that I even have to go this route. I would be happy do reveal all details surrounding this issue.

Justin, I'm really sorry you feel this way, but whatever. I'm going to just put this out here for you and whoever else cares!
1. Bashing me or talking bad about me on a forum is like picketing me in front of a house I don't live in....I don't live here...so I could care less!!!
2. You wanted them shipped by thursday, I planned on shipping them tomorrow.......you have been getting pics of the build too, so please stop lying!
3. You are on my facebook, but I told you to quick posting sideways comments...and call me on the phone!
4. Like I told you on facebook......your not getting a refund for a set of custom colored, custom built wheels (that are a week late). You live in Arizona....plenty of sand for you to go pound....so I suggest you get ta pounding!!!!
5. Your being a class A ballbuster IMO.....and especially since you still owe me money on the build!!! I didn't bust your balls when you payed me for the build in installments, and I didn't bust your balls when you didn't pay me in full up front like everyone else (which is why I don't take paypal anymore and make people pay up front...because of dudes like you), and I didn't bust your balls when you changed the color combination 2 weeks ago ....and you got the nerve to get on this forum crying for sympathy like a butt hurt baby.
Well Guess what???? I don't care dude....and I don't care if anybody ever buys anything off of me again on this forum or any other forum....this is not my living (I actually despise building wheels anymore because of dudes like you, and can't wait till I finished with all my builds so I don't have to deal with clowns like you)!!!!
You told me you were taking legal action...I texted you my full name and address and asked you if you wanted me to fax you an invoice for your build.....handle your business man...do what you gotta do! I told you this morning...I was assembling your wheels (and you have pics to prove it) while you were going on and on over the phone! You gave me two options...refund you, or legal............I told you the refund ship has sailed (and were still on the beach....with sand).....so you chose legal.....and I still told you I was building and sending your wheels regardless!!!
So.....it is what it is man!!!
FYI......your wheels came out sick !!!

wheels really do look great though... lol
if it really was an extra week... sucks. but this is not a cut and dry business. anything custom that relies on others to get portions done for you may be subject to delays. sucks this situation is what it is, but it really is only a week. i know dudes who wait additional months for parts without complaining, its just the nature of the game. in this day and age threats are just that and are nothing without action. just my $.02

Ok....sideways comments? Now lets set the story straight. First off, I have not, nor do I ever need to lie about this or anything else. I don't believe in misleading people as you have me on multiple occasions. Even today, you told me they were done and I called you on it and you corrected yourself stating..."your right, I'm working on 'em right now".....That's been the story for a while now.
The point of this whole deal is that NOT about the wheels...it's not about the money....It's about principle and understanding that there are consequences for actions and the lack there of. They are just wheels...and it is just money....but I take giving my word to someone very seriously in business. If you knew anything about my family, you would completely get it. But you don't and that's why I have a name to uphold and I expect those who I do business with to be a stand up guy and do the right thing for the right reasons. So let's review......
First off, you wanted to sell the wheels for 2500, which included shipping. After you wanted me to send you the money to YOUR MOTHERS account, not paypal which protects me as a buyer, I started looking into Bill Gorman. I expressed my concern over the situation and you sounded like a stand up guy. So I took a chance on you.
You wanted the money sent to your mom's Bank of America account. I agreed. On the condition the wheels were completed in 8 weeks, as I did not want to get caught up in your 8 month build processes that you have going with other individuals that have paid money up front. You said not possible unless you have all of the parts in hand....then "I can build them all day every day in 8 weeks." Ok ....so we made a deal and I told you I would send payment. My bank only aloud 1k transfers per 24hrs. So I made multiple transfers, one day after the next for 2500. I FOUND MY ERROR of a missing payment within a few days and contacted you to verify that one payment did not process. BECAUSE IM A STAND UP GUY and recognized MY error and wanted to correct it ASAP. You agreed that you did not receive the payment and I assured you it was a mistake and I immediately processed the payment (remember, I have bank documents, text messages, and facebook messages to validate my story, so do even attempt to twist it up) Furthermore, I told you that I would only process 2500 until the build was complete and you were ready to ship, and I would then send you the $400 for the "custom work", which was nothing more than coating. YOU did NOT voice any issue or concern with that part of the business deal. If you had an issue, the last three months would have been a great time to voice it, not after you failed to hold up your end of the deal and mislead me multiple times. NOT JUST A WEEK (that's hilarious in itself)
I left you alone for 7-8 weeks until I began to see numberous individuals posting on your Facebook page upset about 6 and 8 months build times. One guy needs you to build ONE WHEEL!!! and according to you and him, you have the parts to get it done!?!?!?! BUT the kicker is that you continually delete NEGATIVE postings and call them sideways off of your page. Leading people to believe something that is not true about you. You take peoples money, and proceed with business when you feel like it and try to play the victim. I don't believe in that kind of business practice. YOU say that you are not a business, but the "hook up" for custom wheels. Ok great, but it's still a business deal and should be treated with the same respect.
Finally, I contacted you multiple times asking what the status of the build was and I received NO REPLY until I posted a negative comment on FB and magically you wanted my to call you and you try to twist it up and place all of this blame on me...again playing the victim. After keeping after the situation, you told me they were being taken care of, which was not true because I later found out that they were still at the polishers. So appearently, it takes two months to get 4 faces to the polishers and get polished...LOL In addition, if that were even ok, then a phone call would have been a respectful thing to do to let me know the status and the delay. However, that was the 7-8 week period....First missed deadline. At this point, wheels were not coated and you were taking a vacation to go see your family. So I took the opportunity to change the color...might as well have something to look forward to right! I later try contacting you and you tell me that you have ideas....ok, great, but no wheels. I agreed to go with your idea and this was mid week of three weeks ago, you said that you would not work on them the rest of that week, but you would start first thing the next week. OK...so I wait for pictures of which we had agreed upon. That week goes by and nothing....Yet again, we had to talk the end of last week. You said, "you wheels are coated and only need to be built....I can send them begining of the week and you can build them yourself, or you can wait, and I will build them and send them out later in the week."
I stated very clearly....I would only continue with the deal if you build them, take pictures, and send them out by Thursday (Giving you another 6 days to put together a set of wheels) with confirmation. NOW BILL, CALL ME A LIER! There was no disagreement on your end to say that you would not send them on thursday, and there certainly was not a phone call letting me know that you were again, not going to hold up your end of the bargain and miss the deadline. I waited until mid-afternoon on FRIDAY to contact you on FB and let you know that the deal was over and I requested a refund yet again.
You are shady. I believe you to be a great person, and just a little rough around the edges when it came to business. However, after you putting all of the pieces of the puzzle together, I believe I made a poor judgment of character. You want money sent through your mother to protect you, not the buyer. You don't keep in contact with the customer until they post something you feel is "sideways," and you delete any comment that is not positive. Fortunately, this is not your FB page and hopefully this will at a minimum make others think about doing business with you. You are a smooth talker and understand the system very well. However, as I told you before, I'm not the guy next door. I believe in ethics and doing the right thing ofr the right reason, even if I'm on the losing end.
Finally, your plans are a basket full of failures which has led us to this point in time. The comments of wheels taking X amount of wheel to be built is irrelevant. You made a commitment, and when you were unable to meet that commitment, I understood and looked to shoot for another deadline. But with all of that were half truths that you yourself submitted. You could have just been honest from the jump off. You tried to verbalize this as your MO, but your actions did not line up with your words.
As I stated previously, we can pull the bank statements, text messages, and facebook messages if needed. I don't have anything to hide...I don't delete postings, and I don't purposely mislead people. If I messed up, I take my licks like a man, move on, and learn from my shortcomings. My family would expect nothing less. For two individuals that are in their 30's and 40's, I would have hoped this would have been a drama free transaction for a stupid set of wheels and 2900 dollars. I suppose I should have paid the 6k and ordered truly custom wheels and understood what I was waiting for. (For those who want to make comparisons to building wheels that would come from japan or other suppliers, I'm aware of the timelines, and thus I chose to take a chance on Bill regardless of the bad publicity he has received. However, "all day every day when I have the parts..." His words, not mine.) I've build a couple of Supra's with custom parts and polishing, and I'm VERY well aware of delays and the reasons behind them. This is not that kind of case of business. This was a simple coat and put the crap back together. 4-5 weeks tops... Then again, I live in phoenix and we are blessed with many resources. Maybe the resources in PA are slim and require more time to get motivated in order to get a job done. HELL, I could have coated my own wheels considering I have the means to do so, but not the time being a single parent, full time job, and completing another degree. But hey...my time is worthing, right? (irrelevant, I know)
What's funny is that it's Friday night, and they still are not complete. But I truly didn't expect them to be complete at the rate of excuses I kept receiving. When Numerous people have the same story, and the same issues with ONE person....
"Well Guess what???? I don't care dude....and I don't care if anybody ever buys anything off of me again on this forum or any other forum....this is not my living (I actually despise building wheels anymore because of dudes like you, and can't wait till I finished with all my builds so I don't have to deal with clowns like you)!!!! MY bet is that the issue is not the multitude of customers, it's the businessman. Just food for thought. Bill, I was always legit with you, and shot you straight. We had great talks about "soups to nuts" and now you want to try to play me like a chump. That's sad. Business is business. Don't attempt to discredit me for something you fell short on.

When Numerous people have the same story, and the same issues with ONE person...."Well Guess what????
Bill,
Let's get something VERY clear, or in your words..."don't get it twisted!" lol
"5. Your being a class A ballbuster IMO.....and especially since you still owe me money on the build!!! I didn't bust your balls when you payed me for the build in installments, and I didn't bust your balls when you didn't pay me in full up front like everyone else (which is why I don't take paypal anymore and make people pay up front...because of dudes like you)"
First, I did not string out payments. I paid you one day after the other due to the way my Bank of America account is set up and your request to transfer the money to your mothers account. If you had allowed paypal, that would not have been an issue. You were aware of these facts and to sporadically have issue with payment method after the fact is ridiculous. (Again, we can pull bank records if required) Additionally, the $400 in question, which is to cover the "custom" work was to be paid at the completion of the build. You did not EVER express issue with this fact until today. My purpose was to at a minimum protect me as a buyer in such case the job was not getting done, I at least had purchased the wheels in full and I could easily move on. So what's the story today, you need full payment or you can't complete the build....???
Secondly, you are telling a different story about not using PayPal at this point in time versus what you explained to me nearly 3 months ago. (4/26/12 - 7/13/12) The inconsistency is jaw dropping.
All I've been looking for was pictures of completed wheels. You still can't produce that....and the pictures you have produced have come after a couple of friendly nudging. Today, was not friendly and the future will be more of the same. Even if there were complete, you act as if a nice set of wheels should make everything ok, but it doesn't.

someone's story seems shady.
So 5 more days have past and the only thing that has changed is Bill Gormon un friending me from Facebook and ignoring my phone calls and texts.
Still no finished wheels, no talk of shipment ... Or even attempting to resolving the issue.
So Bill, what's the story ?!?!

Send him a nice message, not apologetic, but sincere, ask him when he plans to ship and that he can send you a message or email rather than return your call. Be stern but not angry, everyone has a heart so hopefully he will do right by you.
Sry this happened but there has to be a sensible remedy. Goodluck

Right now the family and I are assessing our options and I hope to make a decision by the end of the day.
Option 1: fly to bethlehem PA to get my wheels....assuming they actually exist. Cost of option= $700 plus lost wages.
Option 2: file suit against Bill Gorman
Either option is a headache due to being a single father and living across the country. I simply would like to have my wheels. If there is another option, I am all ears.....

Thank you Bill for getting the wheels out to me....they arrived undammaged despite the FedEx guy just tossing them around :madgo:....
I am missing the center caps and one piece of the valve stem assembly. Everything else appears to have arrived. Please contact soon and let me know about the remaining items so I can get this thing in the shop to slap on rubber and stretch the fenders.

Bill drove from Pa to NJ to pick up my car(since I am deployed to Afghanistan) the last week of August. He had my car for two and a half months and managed to put my wheels on, and the lip kit I bought. I had been in contact with Bill the entire time he had my car and informed him on almost a daily basis during November of the time frame for which I would return to the US for my mid-tour leave. When I arrived home I had to wait 72hrs to get my car from him. This might not seem bad to some, but, I only get 15 days off during a 12 month deployment and it had been 8 months since I had seen my wife and daughter, so, driving to Pa to pick up my car at 8:30 on a saturday night wasn't in my plan of things to do. This made me mad because he swore to me that the car would be finished and in my driveway waiting for the day that i got home. Bill, completed nearly nothing in 10 weeks. He had the wrong tires on the car that were two different brands, the center caps were wrong and damaged and there is a nice long scratch in one of the wheel lips. Being the non-confrontational person that I am, I didn't want to seem too angry when I picked my car up, plus I wanted my money back and getting into a face to face argument didnt seem to be the best route to recover my funds. So I sent him an email after I returned to Afghanistan 12 days later citing how unhappy I was and what I expected from him. He replied and wanted to make everything right but he needed a few weeks to get the money together because he just restocked his shelves with parts. This I can understand, but that was seven weeks ago. I have sent him numerous emails asking him for a response and nothing. When I was doing business with him and he sent me an invoice, my payments were prompt. I would even be willing to work out a payment plan with him if the 1350, 4 correct tires, 4 correct center caps, suvneer fog lights, and stock wheels that he owes me is hard to produce at one time. But now I am running real low on patience, and I am considering having a lawyer handle this for me. What do you guys think? I will post our emails if I wasnt descript enough.

So I called him and he said he was waiting for the barrels to come in and it should be done next week. Well that didn't happen. A month went by and he said " I got them and they will be on the way. Well another month went by. Then he tells me that he doesn't like the paint on them since the clear coat was not bonding with the black and it was leaving air pockets. He wanted me to send the rears back because I could see the air pockets on them. So I did. When I sent them back I told him that I needed them (all 4) by a certain date or just send my money back. When that date came I still had no wheels. I called him and asked for my mony and instead he gave me a tracking number. So I get the wheels and the offsets are to aggressive. And the wrong size tires are on them. Now 5 months later the Crome is pealing off of 3 of the wheels. This will never happen again. He's lucky my wife likes the slightly aggressive look.

I phone him and Asked about the condition of the other wheels. He indicated they were in very good condition, No Bends or scrapes and that he would run them on his wife's car, ( Apparently he doesn't care for her that Much) and the Check was to be made out to her ?? . That was the 1st indicator something was not Right !! I noticed in the pictures they were covered with Brake dust & Road Grime. I asked if he could clean them up a little before he would ship them to me. B. Gorman , Said the water at the shop was really Hard & That the water would leave mineral spots & Stains ! This was the second indicator ! I ignored.
Well they came as promised dirty, And after 3 hours of cleaning them up I found out why!!. The 2 front wheels Had badly bent inter-barrells .080 out of round?? The other front wheel outside Barrel some curb damage and was dented. . Both rear wheels Had light curb Rash, , Other than the one wheel curb rash as he indicated in the sales listing, None of the above was exposed or noted . I did try to contact B.Gorman by E-mail several times . No replies . Imagine that?? Thats was the 3rd indicator
So I excepted this as my learning curve for buying used wheels. So I took
them to the shop & Chuck them up in the lathed And did a .040 cut too remove the rash & deep cuts. Then took them over too Alloy Wheel repair . That guy was straight up. $600.00 later , He brought back my wheels , Had all the edges & Lips polished , And the run out down to .015. The front inter-barrells down to
.020 run out. They balanced up nicely with minimum weight & No Wheel shake !
Would I Buy any more stuff from B. Gorman . Not NO , Hell NO!!
Please let this be a lesson for those whom are thinking about dealing with B. Gorman Cheers _PTEngineering

I paid B. Gorman 3k for wheels for my wife's CLS. I sent the money last February and it took 4 months and all I received were the rear wheels.

Yep, Markcali had problems. Gave him 4500 and no wheels for months. Stopped answering phone calls. I told hin to requst his money back. After multiple calls, I think he may have recieved it back. He also had the carbon paint done by the other member here, and he said it looked like complete crap. Peeling, runs and all. He had to have the trim all removed and repainted by a professional body shop. These little wana be vendors are a joke. Oh and by the way, incase you have not noticed, BGorman is no longer a sponsor.

Not A great Ideal!! I brought a set of used Fiskes Wheels a while , I was told by the description one wheel had some minor curb rash and could be easily polished out.
