wobble or adapters what to use?

I'm getting myself all confused so I'm posting asking for ppl who have done it, iv never seen or used so bare with me! 

obv I'm 5x114.3 got set of Benz wheels on order 5x112, the wheels shouldn't fit over my studs correct? googled around and found I could or am I just not thinking. if they do should I use wobble nuts? I daily my car and take it to NJ quite often so I need something that'll b 100% safe. and will it cause any vibration , I do have spacers so I can just take my hub ring off those. 

but if adapter is needed, I have extended studs so should I get a 1" or a 1.25" or somethibg like that? I never used one so I don't know it'll be
effected by the longer studs. 

obv i don't care if I have to refill I just don't want to as the resell will suck cuz no more benz owners can just toss them on.

Wobble is for small difference in bolt pattern, what you want to use. The wheels will fit over your studs with such a small difference in pattern.

Adapters would be if you want to run 5x120, for example.

Yep, for 5x112, use wobble bolts. Anything more, or less, use adapters. 

You can also send the wheels to any capable machine shop and they can weld in spacers to make the PCD 5x114 also.

ok thx guy! now since I'll need to use spacers to bring them closer to fender, do I still need the ring to make the wheel sit center? I have the hub ring for the spacers on it now.

if you have too use a spacer anyway i would go the adapter route.

^exactly...I am doing the adapter route on my car but may do the wobble nuts on the wifes....

ok so adapter since I need my current spacers. my only concern is I daily n drive to NJ often I don't wanna worry about them, so any issues will I have? and again I never used adapters on mine, with my extended studs will that interfere with mounting the wheel on the adapter ?

Interference will depend n the size of adapters and the back side of your specific wheels.  I have run 25mm and 32 mm spacers on my car for the last year or more without any issue.  You may need to run hubcentric rings depending on your car and wheels and adapters etc etc?  Even so, that is an easy fix.

the best way to do it is get custom hub/wheel centric adapters. clearance will depend like joe said.

I'm running lexus to BMW adapters 19mm is the lowest they have.  They run just fine, but then again I just put them on a few days ago it rides smooth as how they should.  Just gotta make sure you torque them to the correct pounds and just double check every now and then.

I am currently using PCD variation nuts (Wobble nuts) on my current setup. The wheels I bought are originally designed for a Mercedes SL (5x112) but the offsets were ideal so variation nuts did the trick. The thing you need to keep in mind when you get PCD changing adapters is that they are usually an inch or thicker so its going to lower the offset of those wheels by at least 25mm

yes i know that which is good as i need that, my only concern is my extended studs but once i get the wheels ill see how it looks

to be honest you might have to run a 40mm front and 50mm rear adapter or atleast in that range. With that much spacer the extended studs shouldnt be an issue. Majority of Benz wheels have really high offsets so with those spacers you'll be between -10 to 10 offset which is perfect if your running 19x8.5/19x9.5. I've ran 50mm spacers for about two years and 31mm 5x120 conversion adapters for another 3 years and never had an issue. also the spacers i purchased were no name brands off ebay.

40 or 50mm adapters/spacers?

i'm thinking more like 35mm if they're the wheels i think they are.

i've used wobble lugs for almost 2 year on my ls430 and i didnt have any problem with them whatsoever
