Lip resizing, need your input

Ordering new lips and just want to double check the size I heard you measure up to the curve of the lip. So Is this a 3 1/2 lip in the rear.

i was going to go an inch bigger but after trying on a 15mm spacer it would leave me this far out....

So I'm thinking a half inch bigger than the inch....I don't want to do body work also going air pretty soon. 
Can i pull of an inch? Could a pull do it....or should i play it safe.

You should start the measurement from the front of the face to the edge. 

I believe your front is 2" and rear is 2.5"

you measure from the mounting flange. i can't tell from the pictures if the flange is in front of the face or behind, but most wheels the faces aren't sandwiched and are mounted behind the face from my (not so very vast) experience.

you would be better off having your tire removed and measuring from the seal to the bead. that would be the best way to get the true width of your lips.

Thanks bro, yeah it is behind, MC3 wheels stated it is 2 1/2 in the front and 3 1/2 in the rear. The lip roll curves at the 3 1/2 mark.  

15mm=0.59
25.4mm = 1 inch

12.7mm = 1/2 inch

The last pic shows the 15mm spacer, so 1/2 inch will be at tad less. 

I'm going airrunner and don't want to ruin the lips by rubbing the  quarters. Also the front wheels are 9inch wide. An inch would make them  10's.

More lip. Lol. But don't forget to compensate that with a wider wheel you will have a little more stretch. But not a lot.

you need the tire off to get a 100% measurment, but i'm 99% sure you're right. i honestly don't see the appeal of spending time/money to have a worse fitting wheel though.

Take a look at the pics, the chrome is done. Also look at the difference of a 15mm spacer. Big difference.

Yeah I figured that... I just played it safe and bought 2 3inch lips and 2 4inch lips. Didn't want to see the local boy work guy. Hopefully I made the right decision. I'm not sure what you mean by worse fitting, The air is going on in a week or two, which will hopefully flush it out.

If I had a choice again I would not have re barreled. I would have been better off selling and buying new wheels. Lesson learned.

I here ya my dude... I like my wheels but got annoyed with the chrome pitting.

in anycase.......a pull should suite it. youll get some natural -camber when going air. if you can , wait get air installed see how it sits once you air it out then get it pulled, least youll b able to see excatly how much you need!

Thanks bro....i'll try to wait but I'm getting unpatient LOL. I hope i don't have to pull. I can deal with small amounts of camber but I'm not a fan of it too much. It looks foolish to me.
