Equal stretch question

Hate to make a thread for this but the time frame I'm working in makes this half urgent.
 
Ok, so my 255/35s keep unseating from the 11.5s they're mounted on. The 235/35 I have up front on a 10.5 is totally fine though.
 
Would running a 275/30/19 on the 11.5 be an equal stretch to the 235/35 on 10.5? I remember Agi mentioning went you drop a sidewall size you move 20mm in tread width...
 
I've never stretch 30 series sidewalls so I'm not too sure if it's an equal stretch to the 235 or even the 255/35.
 
Any insight is greatly appreciated, I need to get the tires on the wheels and wheels on the car this weekend as it's the only time I have to throw all my arms and shit in.

I think that a 265-30 would be a better look and you'll keep the same basic fender clearance... they are a little shorter than the 235-35 though...

My buddy with a 11.5 255/35 federals is fine -6 camber

my 245/35 on a 11 is perfectly fine :shrug:

Nankangs, so looks like it may be something to do with the Kranze wheels.

Friend of mine can't get his 225/245/35 on 10 and 11 stagger to seat either.

Going to take it to my old shop and see if they'll light it up with some ether.

Johnston & Magwood in Mississauga will fix your problems.

i saw some post some wheel guys put silicone on the bead to make it seal?
not sure though

Brett, I'm taking them to Lou tomorrow. My go to tire guy isn't comfortable seating them with ether but Lou's crazy ass will stop at nothing lol As for the pressure, they were aired up normal hit the first bead, then kept going caught the second bead and stayed just behind it. They went to 130 psi before deciding they still wanted to keep their faces.

Haven't heard of that Monard, but it's not so much them staying there that's the issue but they literally won't seat on the one side.

Sat like that for a bit then slipped off over night.

probably the tire is F'ed up? 
we had an experience with a tire seating properly no leaks what so ever but when you put it on the car and let it sit overnight then next day its all flat

weird. may be the shape of the bead? cuz my works aired up super easy and have not leaked since i put them on....and no use of bead sealer either! 245/35 on 11 and 235/35 on 10.....

wow those stretch nice too. Love the reverse curve that the tire gives. Federals dont do that at all. but man you can run some camber and never wear through the sidewall though lol

Lol ill be doin 225s on my 10s when its time for new rubber. Im a nexen guy n never had issues with them.

i am currently running federal ss595 235-35-19 on 11 and no problem

Also had to pull the tire off one of the fronts and resilicone it :(

nice. well i now have 225/35 nexens up front. no leaks, no bead sealer. my boy just put some 225/35 fk452s (eh i know) on some 9.5 and a small spot wont seal up....even with bead sealer :pat: guess we'll have to try the silicone route :shrug:

actually it was a noticeable difference between the 2....just shows how large generals run compared to nexens. now my stretches match up pretty well front to back
