My LS will never get the attention it needs due to this!

Dude I think the OP's got an LS already, but he ain't modding it just yet 'cause of the  hachi-roku takes too much time and money... And he was wondering who else has a track car build on the side off the daily vipster. Kinda worthless post but wha'eva=)

ive had my LS430 for almost 3 years now. sits on coils and stock wheels. i have a set of SSR's but no money for rubber lol.
 
the 86 is just fun, the LS is the cruiser that i have no extra money for

I cant see getting tired of the track car, ive been building it for over 6 years. I contimplated selling the LS for over a year now. I only kept it because of its reliablility plus i promissed my gf she could have it once she graduates with her doctorate. then i can retire and get another sports car haha

. The gts stamp on the firewall would say ae88. The sr5 says ae86. Yours is a gts conversion as ur firewall stamp is ae86. Unless of course your car is rhd and was drop shipped from Japan?

I'll have to agree with Dannass, I'm the second owner of my gts bought completely stock. It has AE86 on the fire wall.

Trust me, I'm a long time ae86 enthusiast and have been on club4ag.com for years. Japan, the ae85 is the sr5, gts was ae86, for American production they all used the same ae86 chassis regardless of model. Because in Japan the ae85 is a weaker chassis. To distinguish the difference between the sr5 and gts in America they changed the stamp code to ae88. I'll find a pic and show u. If it says ae86 it was converted

Good to meet another club4ag'r on here. Been on there since 98. I Still got my ae86 ( two infact, gts and gts converted) so let me clarify what I meant. The Fire wall stamps on the chassis says ae86 for both. The difference is in the VIN Numbers on door and engine plates which says "ae88" on the gts.

Its really good to see some 86 owners on here.  Yeah this car is most definately not sr converted. I bought the chasis specifically because of its condtion and color even having 280k miles on it hahah

Yea corollas seem to be a huge waste of money for most of all who attempt to build one. I stopped adding the build cost over 4 years ago haha but i am finally closing in on the project and dont have any regrets.

Anyway, this my coupe. Its on jacks because the motor is bad. I had her for sale a while ago but kept getting lowballed.

It's great that there is a lot of AE86 Love here! It is true that it is a money pit! But man, it sure is fun to drive! Still got both of mines!
