Help! Noob alert. Any help is Appreciated.

Hello everyone! I'm fairly new to the VIP scene.. I've been around cars all my life, and I love the VIP scene and only now I'm in the mode in purchasing a VIP platform vehicle. Since I'm noobing it up here in this forum.. Is there any advice that can be given while I do my search? I'm in the market for a 97-01 q45.. Are there any common problems that I should be looking for? Any problems that are common, that I'm most likely going to encounter when purchasing?  

 I actually took a look at one that is super clean but has a rough idle.. Shaking and rumbling at a stop..but still has decent power as it gets going.. . It's 2000 q45t with 132,xxx miles. Does that sound common to u folks? 

Anyways, any info could help.. Or if possible someone can point me in the right direction to links on this forum that might help me out?.. Thanks and I hope this Car adventure will be fun..

Unless you are getting a hell of a deal on that q45 I would stray away from purchasing a used car with problems. There are enough Y33's for sale out there you should find the right one in no time.

Thats a decent deal. Mine was doing that and would periodically cut off at lights. Turns out it was a faulty maf. If you can, when its running tap the maf and if it stumbles, thats the problem.

Thats a good price for the interior/exterior rating you stated...
I never go off KBB
I just search the yr/make/model I am looking for average out the price and lowball from there haha

Thanks for the info! Btw I was thinking of getting a gold q since the common ones are kind of not on the market.. What u guys think about that color?
