It's been out for a hot minute now, I believe a couple people in the states have done this conversion.

its been out for about 5 years i think. it's pricey as fuck (8k+ & you have to purchase some OEM 3gs parts as well) and you can't use any aftermarket 3gs bumper with it, only the vertex. imo it'd be cheaper and more original to do an actual conversion with all metal oem parts.

i think it was like 6k for the conversion, plus headlights and grill to finish it up. pretty expensive after its all said and done.

is the suspension and tire size that the inspector look at the most, not body kits.

For that money I'd buy a 3rd gen and mod it.

waste of time and money. the second gen will always be an icon. in a couple years, when it's not newish anymore, no one will think twice about the 3g.

LOL, this conversion seems pointless, reminds me of the old days guys with civics wanted an integra, so voila civic w/ integra front end. Kills the purpose of owning a 2GS.

Just buy oem part from Lexus or somewhere and have it custom fitted! For the price of this it's bit worth the money

I would rock it, if it didn't cost so much. I like the 3GS front end and the rear of the 2GS

I don't like it. I agree, better to just buy a 3gs
And yes I remember when hondas swapped supra headlights etc.. and all that dumb stuff.

I like the 2GS rear shape more than the 3GS but both fronts look good to me. Makes sense then.

I don't think "waste of money" is something that has any place being said here on VSC, where mirror charms cost $300 and wheels cost $6,000/set. You pay to play. Besides, parts and labour on retrofitting OE 3GS parts would probably exceed $6,000 easily.

I love the front end conversion but the cost is too much for me I would spend that on suspension and interior mods.

I have to agree with OG... I just dont like it. The 2GS is an absolute icon and this look just kinda annoys me. Cant really explain it... lol. But the 4GS on the other hand. Love the way they look. I think it will in time establish itself as an icon as well and the 3GS will be forgotten between the two.
