Slow leak fix ?

My front tires looses around 2.8psi over night, any clues how to get it fixed ?
Run about 50psi, tried tire fix without any result. 

205/40-18 on an 9" wheel, so aint that massive stretch.

Might just probably have to live with it..

Might just be that it ain't beaded right... what tire and how old is it?

Both fronts are leaking...
Brand new Nankang AS1, cheapshots but should still hold air.
 
Weird thing is that both looses EXACTLY the same psi.
 
Could they sit better when I rolled a few miles and "loosen them up" ?
Think I gonna melt those fuckers with the heatgun......

Well maybe they didn't use enough pressure when they mounted 'em, so I'd lift the front off the ground and inflate 'em to 6 bar(90psi). Kick/hit with a bat/etc. (the tire) and see if it beads right, then deflate back to 50psi and drop it back on the ground. Worth a try :biggthumpup:

bead sealer? dont put fix-a-flat or slime in!

Wheres is it leaking from? Lay the wheel on the ground and pour water on the bead. Find the leak have the shop break the bead where it's leaking and see what kind of damage is causing the leak. Either a gouged lip or torn bead on the tire. GL

Don't forget to check the stems.  I once had a not so tight needle and a leaky stem.   Do the water test.   Best way is to dunk the entire rim in a huge tube and look for bubbles.   Since it isn't bad of a stretch it is possible the bead on the tire is ripped from bad installers or a sharp edge on the tire itself.    Don't use fix-a-flat or whatever it'll through the entire tire off balance and makes a mess.

could be hand tightened valve stem not tightened enough

that is better... but dunking the entire rim/tire is better.

Drove a few miles on the highway so the tires got warm and the air expanded.
Seems to hold quite fine now, thanks for the help anyway guys !

i've seen tires only leak with the weight of the car, but not when they are off the car....

They've been on the car all along dude.
First three days both front wheels lost around 2.8psi over night.

Looks like I got them to sit properly by overfilling them, driving and getting the tires warm.

just some food for thought....me and all my friends run nankang...all of us who have bought a nankang in the past month have had it leak and/or go flat... what are the chances of a bad batch of nankangs having been released?

my boy had some 452s on his 9.5 fronts and had to bead seal one and the other would not stop leaking no matter what i tried.
