***anyone running led bulb in fog lights?
I have decided to replace my h1 halogen 3100k fog light bulbs with led ...something like this ...
http://www.ebay.com/itm/2x-Car-H1-102-SMD-LED-Xenon-White-Fog-Beam-DRIVING-Head-Light-Lamp-Bulb-12V-New-/150706590572?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item2316d0136c&vxp=mtr
It seems they emit 6000-8000k white with no blue...
I have something similar in my license plate light 16 smd x2 ...which is really bright...
Any input appreciated...

Where did you get them at?
I would like some, since I can never get a nice WHITE foglight. It always comes out blue.

Nice! Has anyone have these? I need to one in yellow if they have any?
Cree bulbs would be your best bet for led if you're using for fogs but it's not as good of an output. Just hid them mo fuggahs for the best output. I have Cree for my reverse light and they're alright

I got the same car as JUICED, lookin to do the same thing.
JUICED, another option is wiring in an LED City Light, that z168 in benzworld has. I am PMimg him getting info about it. I saw it in person at the W140 meet we had, and it was pretty cool.
He sent me this link, saying this is like what he got.

"My parklight aka city lights are LED which is a small 168-type bulb standard on euro headlights.
Just incase you didnt know, the US/North American standard is to have the corner light act as both park lights and turn signals. The euro standard is to have the corner lights as turn signals only and have city lights inside the headlight as park lights." - z168

SMD led's generally suck when installed in a fog light application, they're more of an accent light if anything
These are CREE LED's and are much brighter, but are very directional, you won't get much light to the side of the car

I also wanted LEDs in the fog lights, but I got HID/XENON lights for a cheaper price!
