Brokers in SoCal to ship from UpGarage

Hi, I have been looking for a broker to purchase some things from UpGarage, but when I searched and found some on this site, they never respond back to me. So are there any brokers that would ship some things for me? I have quite a long list of items, so any help would be appreciated!

I can do it but between work and school and my own project - hard to make time to invoice your 30 items. Help me help you homie. It's really that simple

The more it becomes a job the more I'm going to want to be compensated for my time. Brokering is no walk in the park. Profit margins are so low. It's almost not even worth it.

Thing is that it seems as if you are in Hawaii, so it would cost me more that it would to find someone who is in socal to where i can just pick up straight from them instead of having another shipping fee to hassle with. I appreciate the help you are giving me but I feel as if it would be less of a hassle to go through a larger company as it would be cheaper for both sides in the end. Also I was still a little confused as to how you were charging the broker fees, because it seemed as if it was more expensive than the actual item was worth

jdm palace usually comes through.  try again.  also, it would help to know WHAT you are trying to import.

I would only use Upgarage for super rare items or extremely good deals.  

You need to keep in mind that brokers fees would also include charge for a guy in Japan to purchase your item, shipping within Japan to said guy in Japan, fee that guy would charge, shipping from Japan to the states, and fee for stateside guys time.

Jzsinternational always quotes very quickly, but charges can be high.

well thats why I was trying to get a quote and see how much it would cost and see if it would be worth it. I am trying to get two ls400 kits, 180sx seats, a spoiler, and some rims, well at least those are the important things. Ill try them again, I have emailed them and PM'd them a few times and nothing. 

I understand that charges may be high, so if I get a quote and it is, I will remove items from my want list and just get the things that I really want/need that are hard to find stateside, such as the body kits I want to purchase, as well as the rims. Thank you guys for your input

It does not matter where I'm at. Same rules apply. I have Japanese banking. I have an established middle man thats my wifes family that I trust for shipping and shipping is direct to your doorstep.

Saying I told u what to convert at and what u should consider for shipping. Up garage is an online store for all different locations. When buying multiple items. You have to consider domestic shipping for each item Japan to Japan. And then ems cost for international shipping. You will find it that in most cases unless it's rare that you will be better off buying it brand new. The dollar to yen ratio sucks right now. Do the conversions yourself. Invoice yourself. And I'll do the buying. Like I said the less I do the more justified I'll be in hooking you up

In most cases.  I take the time to invoice people and they don't end up buying anything. Yen rate is 80 yen to the dollar. On exchange you might get 77 yen to the dollar.  I calculate at 70 yen to the dollar for the item to be purchased and a daily rate for shipping both international and domestic. I broker a fee based off what's being purchased which includes handling and repackaging any incidental costs ie tax - gas - fluctuation of daily yen rates.

Okay thank you for explaining that to me, know i understand it more, however the more rare items that are worth purchasing are body kits, which you can not do. I appreciate you trying to help though, but if i can get the body kits as well as the smaller thing as a package deal kind of thing and get it at once, it would be easier and probably cheaper

I guess u don't get it in terms of shipping. If its coming from the same upgarage maybe. All different ones.  The shipping cost is unavoidable

I know but I mean when the broker ships it to the U.S. I understand that there are different upgarages, but doesnt the broker have to get them and ship it to the U.S.? Or does the broker not even have to be in the U.S. and just there to buy the items and have them shipped individually to the states?

Most auctipns will not ship items outside japan, brokers deals with them. upgarage, yahoo auctions, will charge shipping to Japan only then broker charges you shipping, handling fee, custom fees,taxes ect. specially if the broker has to put in in a box extra charge....

Contact SEAN @ JDMPALACE... he will answer all your questions. since most brokers wont ship to CALIFORNIA no more due to a extreme shipping charges and fees..=)

all your items will be pulled from seperate places anyways, shipped to a central location, and then shipped to your door.  you will not pay a "bundled shipping cost" no matter if you go through 1 person or 7, as they will have to all be individually shipped anyway.  seperate broker fee's is a different issue

well thats what I mean, I know the items will come from seperate places to a central location. What I am saying is I want to find 1 broker who will ship EVERY part, including the body kits, to my door. He wouldnt ship the parts individually would he? Thats what I mean by "bundled". He ships them all together to my house. Thats the only shipping cost I am even worried about, not the costs of shipping individual items to that broker. Just shipping it to the states.
