New to me Y34. A few basic questions after searching.

I purchased my Y34 a few months ago for a heck of a deal. With that said, it has a few issue I'd prefer to fix. An need some help with
 
When I aquired it there were some current issues, and others I created in the process.
 
1.) The grill shell was flaking badly. I have since sanded it down and primered it.
2.) The wheels had a fair amount of blemishes on them. I got a wild hair up my butt to plastidip them. Again a temporary fix, but it's actually a look that's somewhat growing on me.
 
Issues I created personally:
1.) When I went to debadge the rear, the emblems over time had chipped some of the paint underneath away. I've debadged my fair share of cars and was more than careful so I know it was a preexisting issue, but now I have the issue of either putting the Infiniti emblem back on or buying a new piece. I will have to put the "M45 badge" back on the trunk since I don't feel like repainting the entire trunk.
 

My questions:
1.) Who is everyone using for buying colormatched paint? I did a quick search, but some of the threads were older and a few of the websites aren't even in operation now. I've heard NAPA can get matched paint, but I haven't followedup with that yet.
 
2.) Can anyone help me with a part number for the rear trunk light bezel? I don't know its official name, but I included a picture and circled it in hopes that might help.
 
3.) I have a dead start issue sometimes. It seems to only happen when it's cold outside. I'll turn the ignitition and the dashboard will light up, but the starter won't engage and the engine is completely no responsive. It will take as many as 4-5 starts and then it will turn over completely fine like nothing was ever wrong. Any suggestions to solving this?
 
 
I've really enjoyed the car so far. I got it for only $3500. It has the normal issues: Fuel gauge, a CD changer issue that is more of an annoyance than a problem, and the power seats are tempermental.

Wanted to give it some time so I wasn't bumping this constantly, but I'd appreciate any help given.

for paint, the only thing i know of is the OEM Infiniti touch up paint, you can get it on ebay.

I have randomly had a dead start, where it doesn't do anything, but if you turn the key back off and on again it fires right up.  It's so random that I don't really think about it till it happens, then it might be 2 months or 8 months before it does it again.

I can't believe how cheap you got the car. How is the interior?  For that price, you could dump a few G's into a nice paint job and you still have a cheap car lol.

How many miles?

1) oem touch up paint from the dealer is like $15
2) you dont wanna know how much that piece is new. lol. better off findin someone partin a car out

I had a similar problem and discovered that the two seat rails got out of sync some how.  I removed the motor assembly mounted on the front of the seat rails, realigned and reinstalled the motor assembly.  It works fine now.  It took me a couple of tries to get them aligned perfectly but if you are mechanically inclined, you can figure it out.

The car now has 121k miles. I bought it with around 105k.

It has pretty much every common issue that the Y34s have:
-Fuel gauge
-Drivers seat
-Trunk Struts(already replaced)
-Trunk latch
-Oil consumption
-CD Player is tempermental

Pretty much every issue has been electrical to this point. They are annoyances more than they are problems.

I'm not sure what my plans are for the car at this point. I bought a Gloria Cedric grill on ebay but didn't do my research about the headlights/bumper also needing to be replaced.

The car is probably going to be temporary to be honest. I enjoy driving it, but I need something a little faster. I'll probably end up with a 335i or 535i and do the Dinan tune. I need a sedan to take clients out.

Hopefully someone will see this....

Replaced my battery with my window down and sun roof open...now the passenger window won't roll up and sunroof is jerky. HELP!!!

My sunroof magically starting working again...and my door window is still stuck down. Just clicks and clicks.

Not really interested in paying the dealership a shit ton of money to fix it.

Interesting how things happens. I just picked up a 2003 Y34 yesterday and after reading this post I decided to go out this morning to start my car. Im also having issues with the no start problem. If anyone has any advice on what to look at Id greatly appreciate it.

Had that issue, ended up being the starter. it would occasionally start but over time finally failed.

i have fresh rebuilt starters (legit....not parts stores cheap quality shit) for sale. hmu.
