JIC Coilover Help- Q45

Purchased some used JIC FLT-TAR VIP Coils For My Q, knowing one was possibly blown (the price made me do it) 
anyone know  place besides JIC to get these rebuilt in the States?

The problem im having is the passanger side spring wont go up anymore on the strut, so im guessing its blown? You can see in the picture how low the spring is and the strut is bottomed out

Wait so it sounds like the collar and the threads are what is damaged then, not blown?  If they are leaking then they are blown, but if you can only twist the collar up so far and then it gets stuck that is NOT blown, but it is potentially cross threaded.

What I did with mine was get some lithium spray grease and a soft bristle brush.  First I brushed the threads clean and then I sprayed the grease and let them sit for a few minutes. Then spray again and see if they thread properly.

yeah...  that just means they are froze. the best method i have found is to put them in a vice and crank with a breaker bar on the wrench. clean em up and reassemble.  just because they're jic don't expect jic to rebuild them. those may be a2 vip which may be ok, but they are at least 2 models outdated and jic usa builds (or will build) stateside now. not sure what japanese parts stock they have left.

Take the top hat and spring out from the top and look around for damaged threads.   Also see if the shaft is bent causing it not to extend out fully.    I'd also take the shock out of the bottom spindle and compare lengths and such to make sure they are matching set... It is possible they used a different strut and reused the spindle portion and top hat.

I think what he is saying is the shock travel won't extend out like the other side...if you look at the pics you can see the travel is way different from one side to the other.    It's either damage internally or shaft is bent possible.  Also it's possible its a completely different shock with completely different travel length meant for another car but used with the original Q45 top hat and lower spindle portion.   These are a mystery.   Take them apart completely and take some more pics..

All of them almost look blown, those threads are messyyyyy which is probably partially dried fluid and dirt.
