late model vs. early model Y33 rear seats
was just curious, do the complete rear seats from the late model directly bolt onto the earlier model with no mods??
I searched and found nothing on here...
Thanks!

I believe they didn't change the seats until the F50s. They came with the recline-able rear seats, correct me if I'm wrong.

They did change the rear seats. 97-98 don't have movable headrest in the back. So technically, the upper seat-back of the 99-01 which has movable headrests is the only difference. I wanted to get some when I had my 98. If you had the same interior color, you only need the upper 1/2.

In conclusion they are interchangeable but just later year had extending headrest. I also do know the front HVAC buttons are different and the earlier years the upper vent surround was also wood grain.

yea they should be same as my cima, later versions had the moving headrest but as for front and rear half they are the same. i had to rewire the drivers seat on my cima though to get it working but im not sure how it is for Q's might just be plug'n'play

Yes the seats are different, yes they do fit in 97-200 q45s. i had my 99 q45 seats in my 97. no issues at all. just no hook holder for the middle seatbelt.
