Some say every 3 oil changes some say every 30K miles and some have said 60-90K miles. I think it comes down to what type of driving you do. If you are hard on the tranny and carry alot of heavy loads or tons of hills I would do it every 30K. If not 60-90K seems fine. Just follow whatever the manufacturer recommends and you should be safe. If possible always use the manufacturers fluids...search online for cheaper prices than your local dealer.

nissan recommends every 30k, but like what blitz said...if you dont do mountain drives or haulin some weight....i'd go no longer than 60k. just keep check on the fluid....its supposed to be a bright red. if it starts lookin brown, change it......if its black/purple....hope its not too late and you dont start havin problems :\

just use whatever nissan matic it recommends... I think on my F50 I used Matic J. Also measure how much comes out and put in exactly the same amount back in.

I just did mine on my Y33. I have own the car 4yrs and never done it so yea. Take it to a shop that uses some sort of machine that will exchange all the fluid out. Like a BG machine. A drain and fill only gets like 4qts out. From what Infiniti told me, these new tranny's dont have an external or replaceable filter so I am now sticking to doing the flush every other year.

I used mobil 1 ATF. runs good and i dont get the jerking shift feel from 1-2 and 2-3. Shifts smoother but that could just be the fresh fluid.
