Memorial Day Observance
I just want to give thanks to all that gave some and some that gave all. I know this is a forum for the car scene but at the same time I know that there are some people that serve our country helping to preserve our freedoms. My dad did 30 years in the Navy and I couldn't be more proud to follow in his foot steps. I just hope that everybody doesn't think that Memorial day is just a long weekend to BBQ. God bless those that have served and those that continue to serve. If you've done your time, put it up. Be proud.
I've served in Kuwait at Camp Buering with the first Navy Air Ambulance Detachment in 2006, I deployed to Balad, Iraq in 2009 with the Combined Joint Special Operation Forces Air Component and I've deployed on the USS Carl Vinson that held the dead body of Osama Bin Ladin in 2011. I've also conducted missions on the USS George Washington, USS Enterprise, USS Harry S. Truman, and the USS Eisenhower.

Word, I chilled with some Navy Ordance peeps when Libya kicked off here. They were some cool cats, now it's time to BBQ!

Remembering on this day all of our fallen brothers
Can't put into words the feeling of being active duty infantry knowing when boots were on ground you KNEW you were going to lose someone to the left and right of you.
To all those who died in hell may they live in paradise
Proud to have served OIF OEF Vet
82nd Airborne Infantry

To all above, thanks for your service!! I've got multiple deployments to OEF, OIF, then also Balkans and Central/South America. Deployed with 82nd, 173rd, Joint Task Force Bravo, and 3ID. Been a blast (sometimes literally). Have the wounds to account for my boots on ground time too, lol, pinky amputated after a little incident with a bullet, haha. But yes, definitely, thanks to all who have, served, faught and closed in on the enemy. All gave some, gone not forgotten. Freedom isn't free...Airborne
