Low and Slow Y33

Just got done fixing my jammed sunroof and spraying the headliner black. Post pics up soon. Waiting on 99 climate control to come in so I can swap it. Easy swap might do a quick write up for the hell of it.

what climate control are you switching from?  Are you going reverse 99-01 to a 97-98 HVAC?  I wish the 99-01 kept all the wood grain...sucked that they took it out.

I've done the 99 to 98 mod 
Must do for all 99+
And yea pretty easy install
you gotta find 98 vents to complete the look

Agreed, I have plans to swap mine to the 99 up but love the look of the 98 :/

Ok sorry for the noob post but why switch out the 99+ A/C unit to the ones before it?

Okay i knew about the vents i didnt think about the control unit though. Its an easy swap?

I've got a 97 but like the analog clock better. Sucks that the newer climate control units didn't come with the woodgrain. If you're switching to the newer climate control units its plug and play except for the analog clock. You apparently have to wire it up for power and illumination.

Ok now I get it. I like the analog clock more so i guess ill be sticking with it. Waiting om my price to get most of my plastic pieces water transferred to blackwood..

nice.. so it all just plugs in for the 99 car to install 97-98...  I Also like my clock...ugh!   I did however switch out the upper vents for the 97-98 and wood matches.   I have the wood steering wheel but just been lazy to install it.

Finished the swap and installed the led's from my old climate control in the new unit. Only shitty part was that the bulbs for the analog clock were both burnt out waiting on led's so everything matches. Have a write up with pics soon.

Yea, for the 99+ switching to the 97-98 is plug and play
shouldn't take more than an hour
