SoCal noob in a Lincoln

New guy here, loved the style since 2003 when i was in Okinawa, Japan for a year.  Didnt know much about it but I'm lerning here. I do not intend to buy a VIP platform car, I'm a Lincoln man to the fullest but i plan on modding my 2009 MKS with a VIP inspired style. So far I'm working with Tong over at VIP Modular Wheels for a set of 22" custom VX110's. He's also installing my 3dCarbon body kit (only kit they make for my car) and H&R springs for now. Bags will probably come later.  Stage one should be done in about 6 weeks or so, pics will come then. Til then, i will keep lurking and learning. My biggest inspiration thus far is Grapejelly's TL on VX110's.  I was originally going to do the dubai gold faces on my wheels like him but Tong came up with better idea that i think will turn out pretty wicked. 
 
So again hello and much props in the detail and passion on all these threads. Havent seen this type of profesionalism in a forum since my days on the r1-forum.com when i was learning how to mod my bike.

Well, H&R springs installed, alignment done. Not very aggressive drop but the 22s should fill in the wheel wells nicely. I def see myself on an air system in the next year. Wheels have been picked and are being made as we speak. spent all day yesterday in Garden Grove with Tong at VIP Modular.  getting very excited for those wheels!

How did it end up comming out?

Went in to check fitment, this should all be done in a couple weeks. Body kit is painted and ready to go on also! here's a teaser.

So the MKS is finally getting the kit and tires done as we speak... ALSO, decided to go ahead and bag it!  I'll pick it up from VIP Modular this weekend, pics soon to come!

Well, STILL waiting on it, but it's ok.  I'd rather wait for it to be right than rush it.  I just registered for the Auto Gallery car show September 8th in Huntington Beach.  We'll see if a non JDM big body gets any love!

Looking forward to seeing it at AutoGallery! Sounds like it's gonna be something pretty unique.

Thanks bro, not too many were into the whole idea of a domestic VIP style, but the few that were diggin it gave me some good feed back and ideas!
