new look of the site

what happen? did dome one not pay their bill? this new look isnt vip.:rules:

The chat box we usually ran brought the site to a halt.  Removed the chat box and now the the site is back up.  Back to the drawing board.  My apologies that this look doesn't fit your liking.

doesnt look vip...looks  generic ...and the quotes under signature are white and not clearly visible...however posted pics seem to be super large...

The script I used to resize all the images like before would not run on VBulletin 4.2.  Hopefully I can find a script soon to fix the image resizing like before.  I'm still working on the look of the site.  I'll sit back on the default style for the time being.

I have the image resizing working now.  I am still fine tuning the forum software.  I just want to make sure the stability is there.  We had a hiccup for a few hours on Saturday and had to remove the chat box because it was overwhelming our server.  Our old layout is no longer compatible with the latest forum software so we are back to square one and will have do a complete revamp.

The dark look was better imo but i agree the chatbox kinda killed the site since there was more chat activity then thread posts..

ok well i know how it is with these bugs on the site as im a admin on 1 site a mod on another site. so ill set back and and let you work your magic.

do you have the remember me checkbox marked?

The black was much better and easier to navigate IMO.

We will have a dark theme again.  I haven't been happy with the ones I implemented.  Hopefully soon!

Just got back from lunch, had to log in again!

The re-login actually happens to me too, both at work (IE8) & at home (Safari).

+1 on the dark theme

One thing to note, we had a major software jump with the Vbulletin software.  We went from 3.8.2 to 4.2, which was a huge leap.  There might be a conflict within the cookies left by VSC.  I would suggest to clear your cookies, at least clearing the cookies that are related to VSC.

I have it in place but there a few little things that I don't like that I need to rework.  Its just a matter of sitting down and getting it done.  Just so much other things I need to get done.

Soooo it will be going back to the black and what not? I find this format much harder to use personally.

It will be going to back a darker color.  I haven't had the time to work on it.

i have no idea what is going on lol. I was going page by page on this thread like it was a build thread. Thinking i was going to see an update by the end. LOL this is the first time I was able to log in on my computer in a while here. 

Things for people to note:
He knows its white
He is working on it getting (once you go black you always have to go back)
There are bugs
He knows I am confused on working this out
He hopes you have patience in waiting out the new look.

Looks good john keep up the good work...i notice the site is way faster now.
