Messed up iPad - know any solution?

So I just came back from a trip to Asia.  I took extra care of the iPad the whole month I was there.  I had it on my lap while asleep, on the plane on the way back to the states.  I was totally knocked out until the wheel of the plane touched ground and the whole plane shook.  As it shook, the iPad fell out of my lap and hit the ground hard.

I was rubbing my eyes as I picked it up from the ground and turned it on to see if it still worked.  It works fine, except that the volume button is jammed and the black square on the screen with the speaker picture is always lit bc the volume button is stuck in the high volume side.

I looked online on to fix the stuck vol button but to no avail.  There were a couple of sites that charges 145 bucks to fix but I'm not not sure if the site is legit.

Anybody have this prob?  Oh, I don't have warranty lol

lol i dropped my ipad more than 10 times and no problem, sell me yours and maybe i can fix it.

Cracked screen labor and parts is almost as much as a new ipad, so I was told.

Id bring it to an apple store but I can't find the receipt for it.  I did, however, buy it online at the apple website over a year ago.  I didn't buy the extended warranty.
