Goo Gone staining my visors?

Hey guys so I bought some used JDM visors. I was trying to get the 3M off and as I was wiping off the 3M I noticed that the excess Goo Gone that came off my towel stained my visors. Yes, I did try washing them with soap. Any ideas of how do get rid of them?

Try wax. Light coat of wax let it sit, wipe it off see if that helps. It wont erase the problem, just sugar coat it.

Well I waxed it and some of it came off a bit, so I used some RainX headlight restorer and some elbow grease. It's a bit tiring but it's doing the job. Thanks!!!

No prob. Its tedious but it works. I had to do the same thing when i was detailing a Hayabusa and the previous owner used goo gone to remove his team logos from the windscreen. It had a lotta fine scratches and haze but after many coats of two types of waxes and some elbow grease they were well hidden. As long as you keep a decent coat of wax on them from now on they should stay looking good.

Just use some buffing compound and follow up with polish.

Yea same thing as polishing headlight lenses.

I have done about 15 sets since.  Pretty easy.  I do them with electric now rather than by hand...much easier, but you have to practice.

if you cant get it off completely you should just paint them to match you car!!

If they are plexan you can sand with 2000 buff and polish and you are done.
