My current build is a 1993 Lexus GS300
Purchased this little gem from Original Owners who had leased in 93 from Keyes Lexus in Van Nuys. They then bought the vehicle when the lease came to an end and kept it as the primary family car until the kids moved out and the wife wanted an SUV. Paint and body were 9/10 with the usual door dings and such. Interior with the exception of the seats was damn near perfect. And the drivetrain was healthy other than a random stumbling idle which turned out to be a bad spark plug.
Within a week, i ordered and installed a set of coilovers and some new wheels.
D2 Racing Coilovers and a set of Vossen VSS-084's in 19x10 +38 (all around)
Plan was to simply have a clean daily while i focused on my other build, a Datsun 521

[/URL]Next was to address the interior. I absolutely HATE the DooDoo Brown & Tan that Lexus does in its interiors. Like my LS400, i stripped the interior and pulled out all of the Dark Brown pieces.
And with magic in a can, i refinished all of them in SEM Landau Black

[/URL]And for the seats, i ordered a fitted set of leather covers from GTCovers.com
Well, it wasnt too long that i decided to step up my game. Plus i have that sickness that I just cant leave shit alone.
So i came across a set of wheels.
Weds Kranze Cerberus II's. 19x8.5 +6 and 19x10 -4

[/URL]The chrome finish was a little rough, so i took them to a chrome shop and had them chemically stripped

Well, i started to get that feeling again, where i needed a change once again. And to the interior as well.
I decided i now wanted ALL Black. And for the inserts and pillars a Black Suede
So out came all the interior for refinishing. Again SEM Landau Black

Onto the exterior.
First was exhaust.
I wanted something a little more agressive but keeping to the luxury quiet tone.
So i purchased a set of Magnaflow Polished Mufflers and a set of 12x4" Magnaflow Slant Rolled Tips

[/URL]I think they came out great. And the sound is clean and little deeper than stock

[/URL]Now I love the clean body lines of the 1st Gen GS. But the front is just a little boring.
Ive researched kits and lips to death, and have honestly found that the Aristo JDM Bumper is simply the best looking option in my opinion.
So i picked up a clean Aristo bumper with flawless fogs, grill and inserts.
Just refinished this yesterday, so i dont have pics yet of it installed

[/URL]Thats about it for now. As soon as i get the bumper installed (most likely tonight) ill then get some fresh updated pics of the whole car. Interior and all (though the seats are still TAN).
