#458496Hello VSC readers! Just a guy w/ a 07' GS here
Hi guys, my name is Tom. I'm from the Bay Area. I was introduced to this forum by John L. and Mike D. I thought I'd finally make a post since my build is just finally starting! Hope you guys like the story..My car is a 07' Lexus GS350, purchased pre-owned from Porsche of Livermore. It was a local CA trade in for a Cayenne. It's Mercury Silver on the outside, and Grey interior. Definitely not my first choice.
It came with Tein SS coilovers and had the rear fenders shaved already. Previous owner had some fun with it.. :shrug: at least it's not banged up and stuff. It's clean, not really any dents, a couple small scratches. No biggie. =)
Anyway,
I work at Wheeldude.com (Rota/Linea Corse retailer), Yes yes, I know replica wheels.. but hey it helps pay my bills. :) But don't worry, I help out the people at Speed Element Performance too in San Jose. They do plenty of Mitsu/Subaru/BMW/Lexus stuff.. Actually, at their shop, they have a few Lexus': IS-F, LS460 (2), IS350 and my GS350.. so it kinda equals out. :)
Everything with nuts to bolts will be worked on at Speed Element in the coming weeks-months. Paint work, I'm still currently deciding. I have a few outlets, so I'm just selecting sometime in Sept.
I already have purchased the following and is currently in shipment:
20x9.5/10.5 Work Gnosis GS-5 in Silver face/Polish lip. (Should arrive next month)
WALD Executive Lip kit (Front lip and side skirts are arriving in Sept)
Air Runner Suspension w/ pancake tank (removal of Tein SS and AR install starts in 2 weeks)
Cusco Rear Camber Arms
Still need to purchase: :sad:
WALD roof spoiler
Lexus Japan Window Visors
Accuair management (in the coming days/weeks)
225/30/20 / 255/30/20 Hankook Ventus V12 tires
I'm just going for the clean daily drivable look, but still turn heads.. nothing like -8 degrees camber.. =)
