04-06 LS430 LED fog light options? Any suggestions?
I want to change up the fog lights on my bumper but not sure what to do. I know it's clean and looks fine right now, but I've had this look for a while and I feel like I need to change it up a bit. Anybody have any ideas? I was thinking of doing an LED style like how the new Mercedes C300 has it, but not sure how if that's too played out. If you have any idea or seen something dope, please share.
Here's how my car looks right now:

Why not take the fog light and basically cut it in half, fill the bumper on the sides where light used to be and make the shorter fog all led? Basically just shorten the fog light housing.
I was always a dual fog fanatic but that would require a bumper overhaul.

Retrofit with 3 mini-projectors, one HID thats on when your headlights are, one thats a DTRL, and one amber thats wired to your turn signal. Or something like that

I don't think I want it shorter though. I like the length of it, just something more updated.

I thought about dual projectors there, but I am leaning towards a strip now since the dual looks kinda off with all the straight lines I have.

I've seen this done, but this is with an aftermarket bumper. I am trying to see if anybody has done something similar w/ just the oem bumper:

I'm sure a strip like that would work for a stock bumper set up too, hmmm

Thanx man! I just added puddle lights and finally wired up my LED side mirrors w/ the puddle lights. Also, I blacked out the top part of the Fabulous grill where the bolts are and it looks a lot better. Subtle mod, nobody will notice but me probably, haha. I thought about retro-fitting LEDs into that housing, but I don't have any good idea on how to go about doing it so it'll come out classy and not tacky.

that's my problem with a lot of retrofit projects, including my own. if it aint factory fit/finish i'd rather leave it be. same can be said for body work though.
thanks for wallpaper. resolution surprised me also.

Yeah man, I am not dying to change the stock fogs to LEDs, but it would definitely change up the look of the car imo. And I need a new look since everyone have seen this one already. I am trying to find a way to add the LEDs so that I can go back to stock if I wanted to later on though. And thanx for the using my pic as your wallpaper, that's love right there, haha. Here's the original resolution if you need a high res version:

man honestly, the more i look at it, the more i wonder if led's will add to the car or take away from the clean look you have. so often these type of theing look done just to fill out the mod list. i don't think it continues to build off the style you have created; and the chance of finding something that perfectly matches the size, shape, and contours of the space you're trying to fill is slim.
here's an alternate idea. instead of doing a light, just do a one off fg fin to add a subtle detail to your light. this piece is for a 3gs ~mc, but i think it would work well on the ls bumper.
i'd also like to see some classy vented fenders on this beast. i think the artisian spirits off the shelf joints would be cool, or a similar all metal one off even better (assuming execution). nothing too crazy like the modern stuff, but something like the older lorinser style when cars had softer lines.

You could always get audi S6 lights. I think they are like 320 per side or something though so kinda $$$

I've contemplated this as well. I just don't think the LED idea works with our generation. In my mind the body style is too old for LED's.
I was going to go with the LED LS600 fogs but decided against it because the UCF20's I saw with LEDs up front I didn't like.
On another note, that is THE best picture I've seen to show off the UCF20 bodylines. The stance, the manner in which its parked, the lighting, all of it is perfect.
