Hey guys, my name is Steve, I'm from the midwest and go to college in St. Paul, MN. I'm here to learn before I start my own VIP project. I have done a little reading in the 101 section but know very little about the technical side of VIP. I know my way around a car and have gone through several. I have to quotes i live by "The older i get, the more i realize how little i knew when i knew it all." and another, by Chip Foose "It's the stuff that you learn after you know it all that sticks with you for life."Now, I am looking for advice on a starter. I am on a very tight budget, but I don't mind waitin. When I see something I want, I rarely stop until I have achieved it. I like to get my hands dirty and learn a thing or two. I'm looking for a daily driver, for the non winter months, that isn't EXTREME low but is tastefully low.

Since my budget I'm looking at high mileage cars, things to look out for?
Airbags vs Coilovers?
Typical Maintenance for the ls?
